Anthony Marte, MD

Dr. Anthony Marte is an ophthalmologist who specializes in comprehensive eye care. He completed his medical education at New York University School of Medicine and went on to complete his residency at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Marte further advanced his expertise through a fellowship at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, one of the nation's leading eye and ear specialty hospitals. He provides care to patients in English.

Dr. Marte practices at multiple Montefiore locations throughout Bronx, New York, and Hartsdale, New York. His clinical expertise includes treating glaucoma and open-angle glaucoma, as well as managing pterygium and pinguecula conditions. He performs comprehensive eye exams and dilated eye exams to assess overall eye health. Dr. Marte also conducts gonioscopy, a specialized procedure used to examine the drainage angle of the eye.
