Dr. Anthony Michael Martinez, MD

My mom saw this ER physician for right sided weakness with multiple falls, slurred speech, dizziness, and lack of strength on the right side. Dr Martinez spent less than 10 minutes with my mom, did not listen to my step-father who said this was out of the norm for my mom, and, overall, dismissed their concerns and her symptoms suggestive of a possible stroke. Dr Martinez told my parents that he saw nothing wrong with her except "aging". Fast forward one week, my mother ends up in the ER again, only as an RN, I suggested another hospital. The second hospital found she HAD suffered a small stroke. I can't begin to tell you how upset this makes me. ER physicians are trained to recognize emergencies like strokes and heart attacks. This wasn't some bizarre illness or something unrecognizable...this was a stroke! This is absolutely unacceptable from an Emergency Room physician.

This guy had only a couple of patients and instead of trying to get me out of the ER everytime I looked around he was texting someone in the middle of the night. It was one in the morning do your job doc and text your friends another time

He acted like he was a gift from God. Did not listen to what my daughter was telling him and he treated with the wrong meds. This guy should be disciplined for being new and thinking he knows everything
