My insurance company sent me to this doctor. He barely made eye contact with me, spent about five minutes and appeared rushed and not interested. Bad bed side manner.

I gave the office 2 chances, thought perhaps my first doctor was the problem. Honestly I did TRY to go to a different doctor I was so disappointed in my first visit but our insurance only covers this practice in the entire Coachella Valley. So I thought if I tried switching doctors I might have better luck, but I got the exact same treatment both times. The first visit was with Dr. Sosa, the second (far worse experience) was with Dr. Nasser. Both visits were for my annual skin cancer screening. I am a middle aged, fair skinned, red head with a history of severe burns before parents knew about the importance of sunscreen. This wasn't my first screening and I was surprised when I wasn't given a gown. I even made a point to mention it to my primary my next visit. This year when it was time to go again she even remembered and asked if I had found someone else, I explained this was my only option. This time I took my husband in with me. I have a hard time speaking up for myself and wasn't… sure if I wasn't given a gown again if I would follow through and ask to be examined thoroughly. Same exact thing happened. NO gown offered. Basically Dr. Nasser came in looked at my face a bit, asked if had concerns, I showed him a spot on my leg and back and he said "You look good, see you next year". At this point my husband spoke up and said "That's it? You didn't even look at her! What about her feet, the parts covered by clothes..." He interrupts and says "The primary is the one who does the exam"....SAY WHAT?!?!? I thought to myself, "So why am I paying a specialists copay to come here??" He begrudgingly said he would do an exam, since I said my doctor did NOT do one. He said "drop your shorts"..yes, just like that. As I was lowering them the door opens, to a hall where anyone can walk past, including other patients and a nurse comes in. He didn't apologize, in fact he said "Ok...spin" And there I was with my shorts around my ankles spinning so he could see all sides of me. I suppose my punishment for daring to question his examination practices was to be humiliated. He then had me lift my shirt and barely looked at me. Still never examining my feet. I have been told skin cancer can turn up anywhere. My previous doctor checked EVERYWHERE, it was a full 5 minute exam. She even looked under my underwear. This practice may be just fine if all you care about is vanity treatments but there is no way you should go there expecting them to find skin cancer early, because they expect YOU to show them what to look at. I have since spoken with my primary who was confused as to why she would be expected to give me an exam before going to be examined. We have also reported the incident to our insurance in hopes that next year this office won't be our only option. And if it is...I will skip the exam....because after all...I am NOT getting an exam anyway!

He was in a huge hurry. Talked fast, threw information at me. Then I find out he’s not a dermatologist, which is what my referral was for.

Unprofessional, no bedside manner and RUDE

I liked the care and service. Dr was knowledgeable easy to talk to and very efficient. I would return
