Dr. Anthony Aden Obiero Ombogo, MD

You guys rock office. Etc etc.

My husband and I are new patients of Dr. Ombogo's. A nurse recommended him after he treated his mother with a difficult illness. We both have total confidence in Dr. Ombogo because he is professional, thorough, and thoughtful. Another plus is that his staff processes referrals efficiently.

Dr Ombogo is sensible and though soft spoken is always looking out for my best interests. He sees through my excuses and brings me to further determination to improve my health in all areas. It is working too! Under his care my diabetes meds have been suspended and my cholesterol is way down. I exercise regularly and eat well and feel great. He is a good Dr.

I scheduled a month out. Told when I got there that I did not have an appointment that day and that I had supposedly changed the appointment. NOPE! In fact, they told me when I had made the change- 6:50 AM- really???!!!! Who would call and even expect a doctor's office to answer the phone before 7 am?! I DID NO SUCH THING. Naturally, I was upset and, frankly, angry, which peeved the staff, who, by the way, was not at all sympathetic, not helpful and refused to take any onus for the error. After I came back later in the day, ready to begin anew, the doctor had the MA take my info and vitals and leave me in an exam gown. I was pleasant and so was the MA. The doctor then came in with the office person to tell me that I was rude and belligerent and that he wanted to get it straightened out before he saw me. I'm not sure that having the office person in the exam room while I am in a gown is even HIPAA compliant. Additionally, if I was such a 'risk,' why would you allow your MA to deal with… me? I am 56 years old and, while I completely own that I was upset at the error, IT WAS NOT MY MISTAKE, the office took NO responsibility, I found THEM rude, and to trap me in the exam to give me a talking to is NOT ok. I would NEVER return to this practice. Additionally, other people in the waiting room told me that they had problems with dealing with his staff.
