Horrible experience. Was told by Dr. Palumbo I that I would need one surgery to fix gum recession. After two surgery’s to fix receding gums, I was left worse than when I started. When the other surgeon in the practice offered to do a third surgery free of charge, I refused. Lots of blood, pain, and tears in that office. Finally got them to refund my insurance and was able to have another periodontist fix. Don’t go to this office would be my advise to anyone. Horrible dentistry and customer service.

Dr. Palumbo is first rate in all respects. From the moment you meet him you know you are in excellent care. His approach is to educate the patient, to listen to the patient, and to provide top notch care. He explains a procedure and provides visuals to help make a point. He is efficient. He is the kindest person you will meet and he really cares about you as a patient. I would recommend him in a heart beat.

Due to many bad experiences starting in childhood I have had a phobia of dentists all my life. This all vanishes when I am in Dr. Palumbo's chair. I have been in his office for several visits, with procedures including bone grafting, sinus elevation and implants. From the first minutes of my first visit I knew that I was in good hands. Dr. Palumbo has always been very patient in answering all my questions. He patiently explains every procedure he is going to perform, using multimedia to make his point. As a surgeon he is absolutely first rate. He works efficiently, always explaining what is going to happen next, taking care that you are as pain-free as possible. He does not forget you when you have paid and are out the door. He follows up and wants to know how you are doing. Dr. Palumbo exudes competence in everything he does. I've been self-conscious about being "long in the tooth" with my receding gums for many years, and luckily found Dr. Palumbo online. He performed grafts on 5 upper teeth using my own palate's connective tissue, and local anesthesia in surgery that lasted only about 75 minutes. I received a 5 day course of antibiotics, and declined the offer of pain medication--there was honestly no need! Two regular Tylenol were sufficient to ease the soreness (NOT PAIN) I felt on the first evening. I needed nothing the next day. I just had my 2 week post-periodontal surgery checkup and I am absolutely thrilled with the results! There is beautiful, symmetrical, natural looking coverage with healthy pink gums. Dr. Palumbo provided the best dental experience I ever had: he is highly skilled; he patiently answered my many questions about donor material with detailed explanations; he is gentle, caring, personable, professional, and attentive. There were no surprises. His staff, (Mary Jane and Melva) are… also helpful, friendly, and quickly respond to email and/or phone questions. His office and treatment rooms are immaculate. Delta Dental Insurance was handled completely by Mary Jane without any delay or problems. From the initial consultation to the follow-up visits, the process was straightforward, easy and consistently outstanding. I plan to have the same procedure performed on my lower teeth soon. I would highly recommend Dr. Palumbo and his professional, wonderful team.

Terrific Doctor and staff. I am having tooth pulled and implant. So far tooth extraction was almost pain free and I'm a dental wimp!

My dentist had discovered a gingival overgrowth and said I needed to be seen by a periodontist. His staff was able to confirm that he accepted my insurance plan and set me up with an appointment within a few days. Dr. Palumbo and his staff were knowledgeable. They put me at ease, explain each step of the process and possible outcomes, provide adequate anesthesia and waited until it actually took effect. I especially liked how his empathic and personable assistant squeezed my shoulder reassuringly before administering each anesthesia injection. I'd return in a heartbeat if I needed more periodontal care.
