Dr. Anthony Joon Y Park, MD

I would like to honestly say this is one of the best doctors when it comes to surgery. Far as follow ups.....it sucks!!!! He have a bad sense of humor. I had to get a hysterectomy because my uterus fell (he thinks it's because I had my twins) He was making jokes, I'm sure for me to calm down but it was NOT the right time. I went for my 6 week check up asking questions that he answers but tells me not to worry even tho I was diagnosed with anxiety. I was cleared to go back to work 6 weeks even tho Dr. Parks had I wasn't fully healed. (Still was spotting & minor cramps, a lot of pressure, dizzy, headaches, feeling weak) All this was happening when I went back to work No restrictions or FMLA & I couldn't get in contact with the doctor at all Just his uptight Nurse Andrea (Andi) that had no empathy at all Just kept saying, "It's been 6 weeks Nothing can be done for you after 6 weeks & u had no complications." If I'm telling u how I'm feeling. Then I had to go to the walk in because it felt… like I was about to pass out & even telling her that She said the same thing, But it's been 6 weeks. I went to my primary & problem was solved ...Thank the Lord.

Do not see this doctor! If he isn't the one to decide or diagnosis it, he will ignore the medical condition. I have severe problems with genetic hypoglycemia which he ignored in favor of having (demanding) that I take a standard test that could make me loose consciousness or have a seizure. This was when an alternative medical test clearly exists and is often proscribed to people who the standard would be too dangerous for. He has also made callous remarks after finding out about my infertility when when I said a procedure to prevent pregnancy would most likely be unnecessary since I probably won't be able to carry another pregnancy to term anyway. He didn't even know about my infertility till the last visit before due date which shows he wasn't looking at my medical records, or listening to either me or his nurses.

Dr. Park and his entire staff was excellent in helping me through the entire process of having a hysterectomy performed. Everyone was very kind, responsive to questions and phone calls, and Dr. Park took time during each encounter with myself and family to discuss whatever topics we were concerned about. A pleasure to deal with throughout all stages. Thank You Dr. Park and Staff!

Dr. Park was great. I do not have any thing but good to say. I have had four different gynecologists throughout my 50 years. I have had children, several lady surgeries, and I get painfully nervous when it comes to gyn. appointments. In comparison with the other doctors he was above my expectations with being professional, knowledgeable, thorough, kind and gentle. I decided I wanted to wait to have everything removed, he was very patient, understanding and repeated office visits plus ultrasounds four times over a year. You will not be disappointed with him. On another note his nurse in Kenosha is the best ever!!!

I have to disagree strongly with some of the reviews. My life would be so different If I hadn't met Dr. Park. He is an angel on earth. He got my diagnosis right from the first week I saw him. Performed surgery, fixed me, and made me a pain free and fertile woman again. Thanks to him I have two beautiful little ones who fill my life with joy. He has the best bed side manner I could expect from a doctor. He even has given me advice farther than the medical, when I was feeling down. Sometimes I've even felt he was like a friend I could talk to, and feel better. If I call I can get an appointment for the same week. If have medical questions, it is just a phone call away, I talk to his nurse and she reaches him, either if he is in the office or at the hospital. He is not just a doctor, he is someone who changed my life for the better and I will always be thankful to him.

I had been seeing Dr. Park for a few years and didn't really have an issue until recently. He was abrasive, told me information that contradicted everything any professional has ever said concerning nutrition. When questioned for more clarity, he was defensive and negative towards me. I will not go back.

Had Dr. Park do a surgery. When things didn't turn out the greatest, he was at once surly, defensive, abrasive and downright mean. He is condescending and has the attitude that he knows best, and gets defensive and uptight if you ask any questions, use correct terminology for conditions/body parts, or try to educate yourself. His exams are painful too. His office staff is nice; not enough to compensate, though.

I have seen Dr Park for 2 years now and he has yet to properly diagnose me. He seems to do really well when the diagnoses is more common, such as endometriosis, however, not so well when its a bit more complicated. He continues to try to talk me into going into menopause without fulling explaining the situation to me, or what he is even trying to treat. His bedside manner is very gruff and heads up, when you do go in for surgery he is not very competent at explaining to those with you how the surgery went. My husband was with me on the day of my surgery and said that he used so much medical jargon that he could not later explain to me what happened to my own body during surgery. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone who may actually need a gynecology specialist, however, for the routine checks and diagnoses he would probably do just fine.

Do not go to this guy. He has the worst bedside manner of any OB/GYN I've ever been to. Aside from being rough mannered and curt to the point of making an uncomfortable visit nearly unbearable, he does not know the meaning of doing gentle examinations. For your own good, find a different doctor.
