Dr. Anthony Jack Pick, MD

After my appointment, I felt so much better than I had in4 years! He understood what I had been through mentally, physically, and medically. He believes I was lacking a team effort of wellness! He has put together a program for me involving numerous medical professionals. No other Dr. Has taken the bull by the horns to my wellness! He's funny, sincere, very sympathetic, understanding and amazing!

We had a very bad experience with this doctor and the Diabetes educator. A one week Dexcomm trial was supposed to be no obligation, no charge trial. My son tried and did not like so went alone to return the machine after one week. Three senior adults - the doctor, the educator, and the Sales person pressured my 21 yr old son for 45 minutes to buy the machine. He kept saying no and eventually got up and left. The doctors office changed approx $600 for this visit which was supposed to be free trial/no charge/no obligation. I disputed the charge, the doctors office send this collection now. Besides this event, very difficult to find appontments.

He is smart and insightful and takes his time with his patients and always answers all of my questions.

Residency from Johns Hopkins, fellowship from the University of Chicago, and admitting privileges at Northwestern -- really doesn't get much better.

Dr.Pick is the best doctor I have ever been to. I have many health issues, endocrinology related and others, and he was able to correlate and address all of them, all while spending time and listening to each of my complaints with empathy. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs an endocrinologist or even an internist. Also he gives out his personal number if needed.

Dr. Pick without a double is a very smart person who happens to be a doctor. With that said, he is excellent at explaining diagnostic results and what it means in relationship to my health and the treatment path; most specifically why a certain treatment path is better than another. And because of that, he truly is a great doctor to me. The only frustrating thing about him is his penmanship, I can not understand a word he writes; which forces me to have to call and wait for a call from him, its extra work. Other than that truly good doctor.

Dr. Pick is wonderful. The time he spends explaining an issue, and the detail he will go into to make sure you understand is the best I have ever seen from a doctor. He also sits down, really takes his time, and never rushes you through like a lot of doctors do, which usually makes it seem like you are on an assembly line. He also has a great sense of humor, which might seem irrelevant, but I personally feel better when my doctor is very knowledgable, but also has an actual personality. I think it makes it easier to feel comfortable and connected with the person you are trusting your health with.
