Dr. Anthony Ragusa

We have been with Dr. Ragusa for two years and never felt more cared for. He leaves no stone unturned and we feel he truly cares about his patients. This feeling carries on through the way his staff treats us as well.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ragusa for 14 years. My health issues have been a challenge for Dr. Ragusa and myself. When I had my first appointment with Dr. Ragusa and he reviewed my records from the past he said he didn't know what was wrong with me but that he would do everything to find out what my issues were. He has kept that promise and has always given me hope. That in itself has been healing. I've been on disability for 25 years and my health issues are not straight forward as I deal with Cfids, fibromyalgia and depression. The loving care that Dr. Ragusa and his staff have given me has definately given me a quality of life I don't think I could have realized with any other doctor, as I have seen many prior to becoming his patient. Bless you all.

I used to be afraid of going to a Doctor’s office. Dr. Ragusa and staff have put at ease with their friendly, calm manner. They are patient, take their time with me, listen to me, and explain things to me throughly and make sure I understand before I leave office.

Manipulative.

The min eating was one. There should be none. That would be appropriate.

Dr. Ragusa is an excellent physican. What hurts him is his unreliable office personel that will not answer the phone or set up an appointment for you. Their response time is 3 to 4 weeks to make an appointment that is 6 months away.

I came from an office that didn't know WHO I was nor did they care. Yes there are wait times, however, there are times it looks calm. Then I see an ambulance arrive and the staff act completely calm addressing the non-emergent patients. He also remembers my family illness without looking through my chart. He has caught illness that no one else would treat. I have also never heard of a doctor more concerned with the level of care and amount of time spent with each patient. I ended up transferring my boys to the office despite the fact that they are pediatric patients. He cares about preventing illness, and not just reacting to how things are right now. Keeping regular appointments are encouraged as they plan the day based on who and what is coming in for the day. The staff have been consistent and spend numerous hours calling patients like me to make sure I am feeling well. This should be the type of office that everyone should go to. He doesn't leave his patients to some random on call… doctor. Your concerns are his concerns and sometimes other people in the waiting room don't get that. They treat means my family like we are part of their family. That's unheard of these day! People need to stop complaining and learn to appreciate a skilled doctor and his caring staff.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ragusa for 18 years and if that doesn't say it all let me elaborate. Dr. Ragusa if an extremely professional, knowledgeable doctor that has made me finally connect with a doctor that I feel really cares about the people he treats. All the reviews about wait time, appointments etc. if you have to wait it is because some other patient must of needed some extra care/time. What goes around comes around. It is hard to be a primary care physician and keep to a schedule. Everyone has to be flexible! I have the upmost confidence in Dr. Ragusa and his staff!

I've been a patient of Dr. Ragusa's for a few years now and I've been nothing but thrilled with him. He always takes the time to talk to me about more than just my medical needs and helps me understand my conditions. I'm a diabetic and I have COPD and he is very knowledgeable about both. My parents were also patients there until they passed. Dr. Ragusa was incredibly emphatic and kind during both of their illnesses. He was with them in the hospital and the nursing home, and attended to them to the last day. They were with a doctor they knew and trusted and not some resident or whoever was on call. Sometimes the office can be busy, but I think that's because he always tries to give everyone the time they need. I know he's worked through lunch to see me because the office was empty when I left and I was told the nurse was on break. I would and have recommended him to all my friends and family.

Dr. Ragusa is very kind/caring/knowledgeable etc.... even though at times there may be a wait longer than anticipated- I realize this is because he takes extra time (well over the 15-20 mins. available for each appt) I would highly recommend him if you are looking for a doctor. He is here to help the community- often times not charging patients without insurance- giving free samples to those who cant afford their medications. This doctor is unlike those who are only interested in making $$. Wonderful doctor and human being.
