Dr. Anthony Kent Raiteri, MD

I have been lucky enough to be under Dr. Raiteri’s care for ten years and to say the change I have undergone is palpable is almost trite. I was a non functioning shell with nothing inside and now I’m living my life as a regular person. And I credit Dr. Raiteri with guiding me through the journey of getting my life back. He is always patient and kind. He listens and he truly cares. He is available. He is everything you need in a mental health practitioner and even more that you didn’t know you needed and you do. I can’t recommend him more highly. I can only imagine the poor ratings are from people who had to wait a bit because Dr. Raiteri was giving a bit of extra time to the person ahead of them because he doesn’t like to cut anyone off when they need him. That’s the caring doctor he is.

I have severe bipolar disorder and Dr. Raiteri has been my psychiatrist x 4 years. He asks the right questions, probes and puts the client first. He is always there for patients, families etc... The best care I ever had in 24 years of bipolar disorder.

I never met him but I am very curious to know how much he charges per session. Initially he says $250 then now it's $400 per session and he doesn't "charge more" during consultation. So I'm curious, does anyone pay $400 per session. I just find it bizarre to have inconsistency with his fee for service.

Dr. Raiteri is a psychiatrist that offers medication management AND talk therapy which has been amazing for me. He is a great therapist and has a very collaborative approach towards medication management. As someone who has had very strong reservations about medication in the past, he helped me overcome those and find the medications needed to treat my my sissues - my quality of life has improved exponentially.

I went to this practitioner on the recommendation of a friend of mine who swears by him. I have never found a doctor with this level of care and bedside manner; I have called him when side effects bothered me (I'm anxious about trying new medications), and he is very timely about my appointments. If you've been struggling to find someone who takes you seriously, please try him. I have an accurate diagnosis after years of minsmanagement thanks to him.

I found Dr. Raiteri to be very knowledgeable and thoughtful but also easy to relate to. He clearly cared about my opinion and what I was experiencing. I am grateful for all the help he gave me. It made a big difference in my life.
