Dr. Anthony H Repucci, MD

This is an exceptional Dr. He has treated our 7 year old grandson for several years for bowel blockage, prolapsed rectum. He is confident, reassuring in the facts of the problem, provided appropriate follow ups, is thorough, kind and compassionate. He educates his patients even at a young age to engage them in self care that wll rectify the probelm. We feel grateful for his help.

I stopped seeing him when i was 18 ish and i’m 25 almost now but he was the best doctor i could ever have. he’s helped me in so many ways and just full on the funnest and sweetest guy truly wish i didn’t grow up cause he made life better!

I am always reluctant to write reviews unless its exceptional or extremely terrible....and in this case I felt it was necessary . I haven't had the opportunity to meet this doctor because the office staff was absolutely rude, disorganized and completely unprofessional to the point that I left in tears. I was on the phone for 10 MINUTES with this office and scheduled an appointment to see him the doctor that Monday at 8:15am. Now, I am in need of surgery and I am extremely eager to see this doctor so I walk into the office and tell the girl I was there to see Dr Reppucci as I had an appointment. She smirked, huffed and rolled her eyes - I asked her what that meant. She ignored me and then asked me what my last name was. Then she tells me that I do NOT have an appointment that she doesn't see my name. I told her that there is a mistake and that I 100% made the appointment - why else would I be there. She treated me as if I lied. I began to get upset and her manager walked over behind… her. She tells me well the doctor doesn't get in until 9:30am …(so I'm thinking ok at that point I figured worst case they screwed up and I have to wait until 9:30am) .... then she asks the lady standing behind her … what do you think BOSS? The lady pointed to something on the screen and the girl tells me well I think we can maybe squeeze you in on Thursday with a smirk.... I couldn't believe that they said that to e in that manner and I just stormed out at that point. I have NEVER in my life experienced such poor service, compassion and treatment. I cannot believe this office is functioning on the Northwell system. My recommendation is that if they screwed up my initial appointment and gave me this kind of treatment … stay clear! A doctor is only as good as he trains his staff to be and clearly they have no respect for him or their job.

Extremely committed, professional with a phenomenal bedside manner. He treated my son and family as if we were a part of his own. Forever grateful!

He saved my daughter's life. No one else in our town would have helped. I owe so much to him.

Dr. Repucci began to treat my son's Ulcerative Colitis when he was just 10 years old until he was 18 and left CT for New Hampshire. We were very sorry to see him go but wished him the very best in his new endeavor. His bedside manner is surpassed by none. He had such a wonderful influence on my son who now works in the health field at a nearby hospital and I just wanted to thank the doctor here for being such a positive force in my son's life. Dr. Repucci, you are THE BEST at what you do and I thank you from the bottom of my heart! I highly recommend this doctor!!!

I had been seeing Dr.Repucci since I was about 9 or 10. I was having so much stomach pain that I refused to eat. He was the first doctor out of many to not only take me seriously, but make the correct diagnosis. He was so kind and seemed to enjoy working with children. He understood a lot about the unique way that kids describe their symptoms and act when they don't feel well. When I had a very bad and unusual reaction to a medication in the hospital during a test, he insisted that I punch him so that I could feel better about it.He no longer works at CCMC in Hartford, but I would recommend him to anyone who has a child with digestive or GI problems.
