Dr. Anthony Joel Rodriguez

Dr. Anthony J. Rodríguez is a licensed Board Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician serving the South Florida community. While completing his undergraduate studies in Biology with honors at the University of Puerto Rico, Dr. Rodríguez decided to move to New York to complete his doctorate degree from New York Chiropractic College. As a Chiropractic Physician, he is committed to identifying the underlying causes of problems, addressing, and correcting them rather than simply treating the symptoms. After diagnosing and treating patients, Dr. Rodriguez’s main focus is to guide them to a healthier life style that includes regular chiropractic care, core strengthening, regular cardiovascular exercise, stretching, ergonomics and biomechanical awareness among others. Dr. Rodríguez, who is fluent in Spanish, also has given lectures about health and wellness to the Spanish communities of New York City, Puerto Rico, and South Florida. To better serve and educate his patients, he has completed …several postgraduate education courses in biomechanics, sports injuries, accident rehabilitation, manual therapy, and soft tissue treatment techniques, among others. Dr. Rodríguez enjoys working with athletes and active people who want to perform better at their job, sport, or hobby. Because of his passion for sports, he’s completed over 100 hours of post doctorate education in diagnosis, treatment, and management of sports related injuries to become a Board Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician. He has served as the Chiropractor for multiple athletic and charity events including: The ING New York City Marathon, NYU, New Balance and The Masters Invitational Track and Field events, among others. Furthermore, he was part of the Medical staff at the 2009 NYC Fleet Week, treating hundreds of onboard active service men and woman from all military branches. Dr. Rodriguez is happily married and enjoys spending time with his wife exploring the restaurants and beaches in Miami, working out, and watching sporting events especially NBA basketball.Dr. Rodriguez is currently accepting new patients please call and/or request an appointment today!
