Dr. Anthony Corral Romero, MD

This doctors office is the worse. From the office personal, Lynn, Erica, Laura. I like to believe that Dr romero knows what at this 3 employees are not doing their job. Or maybe he doesn't care at all. I was looking for a zero star this medical office doesn't deserve 1 star

Dr Romero is an amazing surgeon and a wonderful and personable physician. I went to see Dr Romero after 4 other physicians from Cedars, UCLA, SCOI and one in Santa Barbara, failed to diagnosed what I had. He was highly recommended to me by my general practitioner, and I will always be thankful for that referral. I came to Dr Romero after being involved in a bicycle accident where evidently I torn a tendon on my hip. On the very first appointment, he immediately had an idea of what I had. An MRI was ordered and we confirmed that it was indeed what he suspected. He was very detailed in explaining the entire procedure, as well as being patient to respond my long "questionnaire" about rehab time frame, restrictions, possible permanent limitations, etc etc. I would say, this was probably the biggest surgery I have ever had but thanks to his help, support and his team, I am recuperating quite well. All the girls in the front are always so helpful and friendly. It is nice to… come to a doctor's office and have them recognize you by your first name. I really like that! Laura his assistant, and his new surgery coordinator Erika, are truly an amazing team. They are very helpful with your process in scheduling appointments, and coordinating/getting approvals of any upcoming tests. All the girls in the office have always made me feel taken care of, and I appreciate that! If you need a good physician with excellent bed manners, personable who does not rushes through the process, go to Dr Anthony Romero - and the best... he is fully bilingual! Lo recomiendo mucho!

Dr. Romero has done a total hip replacement and has done a rotator cuff surgery for me. After my hip replacement I was able to walk again. This was in 2012. In May of 2016 he performed a rotator cuff surgery and it went wonderfully as well. This surgeon is top notch in his field both in skills and knowledge. I would recommend him to anyone needing his services. He cares about his patients and is with them every step of the way. He is the only surgeon is this field I would trust.

Dr. Romero was the most wonderful and competent surgeon I have ever had. Not only is he extremely talented and caring but did an amazing restoration on my hip. I had dysplasia and the damage was extensive, yet he did such a wonderful job. I had a terrible limp and considering the nature of my work ( Art restoration on murals and vintage architecture) my legs are very important other than just walking around, I do a lot of climbing, stretching and balancing and now I can use my leg again. Now , because of the dysplasia (yes, people have it too!) I am having trouble with my left leg. Sharp pain in my groin when I try and walk on it. I have made an appointment with my primary caregiver to check my general health and then on to Dr. Romero again. He is the only one I want to operate on me...I trust him implicitly with my life and health!!!!

I would choose Dr. Romero again without hesitation. I especially liked the detailed explanations I was given prior to the hip arthroscopy & the excellent description, explanations of each step of the surgery. I had great follow up care and an extremely assertive period of physical rehabilitation. I am pain free to this day and will visit tomorrow to have an examination of my right hip for the same outpatient surgery if required. The staff is friendly and efficient as well!

never callls back never filled me a 2nd script when i beeen in pain i just cant fucken believe this ,i wouldnt had nothing done if i knew the turn outs were gonna be like this ,not being able to reach him what so ever or anything

Very Caring, nice person in general. Excellent surgeon.
