Dr. Senagore specializes in laparoscopic bowel resection, surgeries for Crohns disease, ulcerative colitis, rectal cancer, and the treatment and management of anorectal disorders. He is also a researcher, specializing in molecular and genetic changes in colorectal cancer, laparoscopic bowel surgery, and new surgical treatments for incontinence and constipation. He has brought a number of cutting edge therapies for colorectal cancer to UH/Parma Medical Center. Dr. Senagore is board certified in general surgery and colon and rectal surgery and Past President of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. He is a member of numerous associations, such as the American College of Surgeons and the American Surgical Society. Dr. Senagore was a Director of the American Board of Surgery and currently is Chair of the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. He is a great doctor, knows his stuff and backs everything with an article. He also had written books about the surgeries he performed. He is an excellent choice for anyone who needs a colon Surgery for cancer or whatever. Great surgeon!!!!

Met this MD one time; never made eye contact with me and wasn't very nice through the whole appointment. He made me feel violated with the instruments that he used for the exam. I felt like a $$$ to the provider

Appendix removed as emergent surgery, very thorough. Did what needed to be done. No follow up after surgery which seemed odd to me, unless problems occurred, which were none. I was happy with the care, not world class, but was pretty good.

Dr. Senagore performed my surgery colonrectal cancer in 2000 at the Cleveland Clinic. It is 2015 I am still cancer free. I traveled 600 miles to the Cleveland Clinic so that I would have a better chance at living. Excellent Doctor.

I was diagnosed with colon cancer - and Dr. Senagore was beyond great! I just wanted it out - and he made an appointment for me within a week - he even used a method where I didn't have to have staples - I healed so quickly - I loved his approach, his detailed information - and his care - if we at USC lost him - I am so sad- because he was a great gift here.

I was sad to hear that Dr. Senagore was leaving USC. He is an outstanding doctor and I will miss him a lot.

Highlights of Dr. Senagore's care included his high level of expertise, reinforced by calls I made to other colorectal surgeons who were aware of him. He did not rush into surgery, took a conservative approach. He answered all my questions; he did not offer lots of information, but left it to me to seek answers, which is well-suited to my involvement level in knowledge of my disease, my care and related decision-making. He was very responsive and prompt in calling me with biopsy/pathology results and briefly outlining next steps and why.

Really disappointed that Dr. Senagore is leaving Keck. He is outstanding. I'd almost be willing to fly to Central Michigan to have him be my Dr. Great guy. Only Dr. I've ever had that follows up and will even email you back promptly with answers to your questions.
