Dr. Anthony Peter Skiadas

Anthony P. Skiadas, DMD
A native of Lancaster, PA, Dr. Anthony P. Skiadas earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Swarthmore College. Following graduation, he worked as a professional health-care consultant for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals Group. While in that position, Dr. Skiadas learned the value of relationships and the skill of communicating with people, strengths he brings to his new practice in Lancaster. During his time at Pfizer, he decided to pursue his dream of becoming a dentist.
He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Temple University School of Dentistry and joined a practice in West Chester, PA where he delivered general and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Skiadas has studied at LVI (Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies) which is the world's premier post-graduate dental teaching center; and, recently visited the Beverly Hills office of Dr. Bill Dorfman (of ABC’s Extreme Makeover) to learn about the advancements in cosmetic dentistry.
When …the time came to build his own practice, there wasn’t much of a question as to where it would be located. Dr. Skiadas wanted to return home because many of his family member were still in the Lancaster area. Fluent in Greek and Spanish, Dr. Skiadas knew that a number of people in the Lancaster area could benefit not only from his advanced skills in dentistry, but from his ability to clearly communicate with them as well. This level of communication would greatly enhance their care and comfort.
Dr. Skiadas is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
In his free time, Dr. Skiadas enjoys working out at the gym and spending time with his beautiful English Bulldog, Dolce.
