Dr. Anthony J. Smith, MD

Dr. Smith was very interested in my care and comfort and walked me through my illness the whole way.

I have had very negative experiences with Dr. Smith and his office staff. They are completely unreliable and have been negligent with my care. He and his staff are very tardy in returning phone calls and following-up on test results and prescriptions. On a number of occasions I've had to continue calling his office to get test results or prescriptions refilled. Recently the doctor did not have the proper bloodwork done and only noticed after I called his office 3-4 times to inquire about a prescription related to the bloodwork. When I returned to have the bloodwork done, I was no longer insured by an employer and was stuck with a huge bill (which I wouldn't have had had Dr. Smith had the proper bloodwork done initially). His office told me "sorry" and a supervisor never returned a phone call when I called to inquire about it. This is negligent behavior that is unacceptable. Avoid Dr. Smith.

Dr Anthony Smith has been one of THE most available health professionals I've encountered in my adult life. I am 44 years of age. He has been available by phone each of the three times I have called him over a two week period, has returned ny calls promptly twice. He is empathic and realy seems to care about me. I have also had three appointments with him regarding my pulminory situation (asthma exascerbations) over a 6 week period, and he has given me ample time and consideration in each. I highly recommend him!
