Great personality, very knowledgeable and always feel comfortable going to see him

Amazing he still has a license!

Not impressed with him at all. He has absolutely no bedside manner, he is always late for his appointments, does not spend time talking about your problems, just writes prescriptions. He is there to make money. Definitely would not recommend him.

First off, this doctor does not follow any kind of appointment time, rather he goes in order of first come first serve, leaving people to wait for sometimes hours to see him. Dr. Tabacco does not care about his patients at all and he has no patience. He just writes scripts without getting all of the information needed and when you try to talk to him, he gives dirty looks as if there is no one in the room with him. He is all about making money and getting the patient out of the room and getting on with the ten other people waiting outside his room. He is definitely NOT A GOOD DOCTOR. If you want to see a doctor at Island CVounseling, whatever you do, do not sign up with him as he could careless about his patients. I recommend Dr. Och there or any other doctor in that office aside from Dr. Tabacco. His coworkers have even said in regards to the multitude of people waiting to see him (not because he is taking time withe his patients but because he double and triple books $$$$$) say… "{what is this a deli line? do you guys have to take a number to be seen? It is bad when your coworkers are talking about him in front of his own patients. The follow up is the only thing that is rated good because it is not his duty. He is rude and does not care about anything but making money. He also requires that one comes to see him monthly and will not give refills because he does not get paid if there is no appointment. He says it is because he wants to see how the meds are working but he doesn't even ask. He should have gone into another field that does not include working with people.

Saved my marriage

I've always been very apprehensive about seeing a Psychiatrist, but finally figured it was time to give it a shot. First off, the office seems more like a telemarking center and very uncomfortable. No privacy. When I saw Dr. Tabacco, he was quick to write me out a script w/ out even going through my complete medical history and it basically seemed like I was just taking up his time. No bedside manner and didn't even seem to care about the psychiatric problems I'm having. Not caring at all!

Likes to keep appointments really brief and does not really get into the problems.

Dr. Tabacco is an excellent Psychiatrist. Very thorough and caring.Very knowlegeable. Would definitely recommend that you chose him as your Doctor
