Dr. Urbanek has no bedside manner at all. He does all of the talking, and if you don't agree with him, he treats you like you are ignorant. He does not seem to care about his patient's pain during procedures. He is very arrogant and uncaring. I will not go back to him for any more procedures nor refer anyone to him.

After being referred by a friend, I visited Dr. Urbanek for TMJ. Everything went well up until he walked into the room. I’ve never been talked to so disrespectfully by a complete stranger. It was a utterly terrible experience. I decided that I wouldn’t give that man one red cent. Also seemed like I couldn’t trust him. Will never recommend.

I got my splint made 5 years ago from Dr. Urbanek for the reason of me grinding my teeth together during the night. I tried several different brands of mouth guards and splints but none of them compared to this one. It has made a big difference for me and I’d hate to be without it.

For many years I went to multiple doctors and was misdiagnosed for my headaches, ear ringing, and dizziness. Finally my primary doctor referred me to Dr. Urbanek. After that it was history. He turned my whole life around by giving me the splint. I was able to function on a daily basis without having all of my symptoms. If you have the same symptoms then I would recommend him to anyone. The splint will change your life.

I told my dentist that I was having severe jaw pain especially when I ate or opened my mouth wide. He told me to visit Dr. Urbanek. When i received the splint I did not think that it would help. After the first 6 weeks I noticed 50% of my pain was gone. I thought that I would still just have the little bit of pain left. One day it dawned on me that I had not had any jaw pain in over 2 months. I was skeptical but I hate to think what my jaw pain would be like if I had not tried the splint.

After about 10 years of major chronic pain due to TMJ i can now say that I am living a normal life. There were many many times I was ready to end my life because the pain was SO bad. I lived in my bed and was unable to do the smallest things. After 6 years of wearing my TMJ device made by Dr. Urbanke and after one successful surgery I now have a job and am living a normal life, which I never thought I would be able to do. I cannot say Thank You enough to Dr. Urbanke and his staff!
