He received his Certificate in Periodontics from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1971 and has been practicing in Dutchess County ever since. He was on staff at Vassar Brothers Medical Center from 1971-2004, was a consultant to Castle Point Veterans Administration Medical Center until 1996 and was also a Clinical Assistant and Professor at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Vigliotti is a member of the American Academy of Periodontics, the American Dental Association, the NYS Dental Association and the Dutchess County Dental Society.
