Dr. Anthony Reginald Whitaker SR., MD

Doctor had me on medication that actually worked for my add...then took me off because he thought a newer drug would work even tho the one I was taking was working just fine. Also went against hipaa...and told my information to people that was not suppose to know . And stole money from me.

I found Dr. Whittaker to be a calm, professional, and reassuring psychiatrist who helped me through a time of grief-related depression.

This Dr. has control issues. After my original psychiatrist passed, he took over. He immediately changed my Rx's which was traumatizing to me. I finally had to find another doctor. The wait in the lobby was very long and uncomfortable. My appointments were always late. The appts were always scheduled days after my Rx's ran out. treated like a criminal going to med call. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DR. WHITAKER

Very Good diagnoses when no one else could figure it out. I have been doing great ever since. I recommend him 100%.

Psychiatrists should not bring religion into treatment...Dr. Whitaker basically told me that not having religious beliefs was the same as not eating. This was on my very first (and only!) visit with him! He also changed my medication (prescribed by my previous psychiatrist) for no reason at all -- I told him that I was not having any issues, was not depressed, was not anxious etc. and yet he made a change anyway. Also, he spoke to me as if I was a child and I am an intelligent, well-educated person. I would NOT recommend this man!

Would not recommend this doctor to anyone. Very poor ability to diagnosis psychological problems. Inserts his own beliefs and judges patients by them . Equates lack of religious belief to anorexia. Poor ability to relate to adolescents
