Dr. Antoanella Bardan Calame, MD

I wouldn't recommend her at all, she prescribed me a oral medication to take for several years for a condition I did not even have and gave me two wrong diagnosis on what my issue can be. I understand that doctors aren't supposed to know it all but if you're going to prescribe someone a medication to take for several years that have cancerous side effects, at least suggest them to do a biopsy first to know the medication they're taking is actually for what you're experiencing. I took the oral medication for 2 months until I decided I should do a biopsy to make sure that was my actual diagnosis before I take that for years. I tried to schedule another appointment after I did a biopsy on my own and I came to her with the actual diagnosis and she rejected the visit stating it was "a bit severe" (which its not) I've never heard of a doctor rejecting someone based off it being "severe" I guess that's her excuse and she doesn't want to see me since I went a step ahead and did a biopsy and… she doesn't want to see me based off the two diagnosis she gave me were totally wrong. I mean how do you explain to a patient that the medication you prescribed them to take for years that have a black box warning was for nothing and you've been taking it for no reason? I can see why she avoided me. Super unprofessional and I do not recommend.

Visited with Dr. Calame via telehealth. Quick diagnosis and great treatment plan. Above that, she was thinking of me in between our visits. It's difficult enough to get most doctors to focus on you while you're in the room with them. So Dr. Calame's thinking of my pain and going the extra mile outside of our visits speaks volumes about the level of care she has for her patients. I will absolutely see her again and I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Calame is one of the best doctors I have ever had privilege to meeting. She explained in detail what my medical issues were and she gave me multiple options on how to treat them and she allowed me to choose which option was best for me. Her knowledge of dermatopathology is untouchable and can't be compared to any other doctor that I know. She was extremely helpful and polite and I was diagnosed quickly and my appointment and waiting time was not long at all. I would recommend this doctor to anyone that asked.

Dr. Calame, is friendly and professional and really cares ... love her!
