I recently had to have my thyroid removed due to cancer and I want to say a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Chaker. Right from my 1st office visit, meeting Marcia and Dr. Chaker was a pleasant experience. He was very compassionate and understanding of my fears and urgency to get this taken are of. Marcia was very helpful getting me an appointment and with my insurance approval for the surgery. I am truly blessed to have Dr. Chaker for my doctor. My surgery was 100% successful and I am on the road to recovery. I recommend Dr. Chaker to anyone in need of this type of surgery. God bless him! I needed parathyroid surgery and was worried to have this done . Dr Chaker put my worries at ease. Surgery went well with minimal scarring. I would recommend him to anyone that needs thyroid and paratyhroid surgery

Other then the 26 year old did the rest of you go to the same Dr Chaker office as we did. Because there is nothing I would agree with in any of your comments. Dr. Chaker came highly recommended, I had no problem getting an appointment and dealing with the office staff wasn't a problem either as for wait time 15 mins. and who doesn't have to wait for an appointment I've never been to an office and just walked right in on time. Dr Chaker did an amazing job left me almost scar less I have to look for the scar considering I heal with lumpy nasty scars, I was so pleased he is also a plastic surgery. I found him to be very informative about what he would be doing to my neck. We don't always like the results we receive and sometimes those results make us bitter but it doesn't give us the right to BASH another person. You should of gotten another opinion before you got your surgery. I will be a returning patient and will refer people.

Had my thyroid removed by Dr. Chaker at the age of 26. He did an excellent job and I have virtually NO scar. People can't even tell I had surgery. I would go back in a second and is highly recommended by other well respected doctors. I've seen women that have horrible scars and thank God he is a great plastic surgeon!! Yes the office wait time was very long but some things are worth waiting for.

DOCTOR ORDERED ME TO GET A CAT SCAN.CARE CORE REJECTED TEST UNTIL THEY GOT MORE CLINICAL INFO FROM CHAKER. OFFICE STAFF WOULDN'T CALL CARE CORE TO CLEAR IT UP BECAUSE, IN HER WORDS,SHE COULDN'T STAND THOSE PEOPLE. SHE WAS GOING TO DEAL WITH THE ISSUE VIA FAX BUT SHE NEVER CALLED ME BACK. THEN DOCTORS OFFICE CALLED ME TO SCHEDULE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT TEST WE NEVER DISCUSSED. IF I WAITED FOR THE OFFICE STAFF TO HELP ME GET THE TEST I NEEDED I COULD BE DEAD BY NOW. FOR THE RECORD, THE MAIN RECEPTIONIST WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, BUT OFFICE STAFF DEALING WITH MY INSURANCE COMPANY WAS RIDICULOUS.
