Dr. Antoni Duleba, MD

Saw when he was at Yale. I had already been diagnosed w/PCOS. Gave me small dose of progesterone for potential endometriosis. Only thing that helped the pain. Then when I went back he refused to refill. I was around 30 years of age and had no health issues that would make me a poor candidate for 5 or 10mg medroxyprogesterone tablet a day. I had to go to someone else for laparascopic surgery for endo confirmation and treatment. My chronic pelvic pain was not taken seriously after driving a great distance for what I thought would be better care. I was wrong. Maybe that is why I received a letter from Yale not long after my visit saying that Dr. Duleba was no longer with the practice. While others say they had a good experience, I definitely cannot say I am one of them. It should not be this hard to get relief from endometriosis.

I was in pain for years, no one would take my complaint seriously, one doctor simply suggested just was aset a hysterectomy and that should take care of everything. I was hopeless at this point and angry...filed a complaint with UCSD and was introduced to Dr. Deluba, he was wonderful in minutes he told me what was wrong and gave a plan to fix it.. This is my first week after surgery and after seven years the pain is gone. Two hours of his rime has improved my life. I owe him a great deal.
