Dr. Antonia Francis Oladipo, MD

Antonia F. Oladipo, MD, MSCI, FACOG is a double board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist and maternal-fetal medicine specialist, clinician-scientist, and visionary leader in women’s health. As an Associate Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine, Regional Vice Chair of OBGYN for Hackensack Meridian Health- Central Region and Division Director of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, she bridges groundbreaking research, compassionate patient care, and transformative medical education.  

A trailblazer in translational research, Dr. Oladipo has been a co-investigator in multi-million dollar initiatives tackling maternal and child health disparities, including the Enriching ECHO, a $32 million NIH grant, as well as the FOCUS and NJ CEED grants. Her innovative work in health communications—understanding the implications of AI to combat misinformation and improve patient-provider dialogue—has added valuable evidence in …perinatal care. As former Director of Research at Hackensack University Medical Center, she built a thriving research program, mentoring future clinician-scientists and spearheading studies from concept to high-impact publication.  

Clinically, Dr. Oladipo specializes in high-risk pregnancies, with expertise in perinatal cardiac disease, mental health, cancer in pregnancy, and the perinatal microbiome. She co-directs HMH OBWELL, a pioneering perinatal mental health collaborative, ensuring holistic care for vulnerable patients.  

Beyond academia, she is a passionate educator, co-directing *The Developing Human* medical school course and inspiring learners at all levels. Her commitment to equity extends through leadership roles with the Bergen Volunteer Medical Initiative and Partnership for Maternal Child Health of Northern New Jersey, where she champions underserved communities.
