Dr. Antonio Lazaro Carro, MD

W e have been going to Dr, Carro for several years now. I have been pleased with his service. He listens to what we are saying, and has taken good care of us.

Dr. Carro suggests 'x' procedure. I asked the cost (am on medicare). He said, "What's it to you?"

I now have a damage leg because he removed a cyst without doing a biopsy first, it turned out to be cancer. 1.2 centimeters of which was left behind. Because of how it was done. I had to do 3 rounds of Chemo immediately, have another surgery and the radiation was BECAUSE of the way he did it. Leg is useless now and I cannot get a knee replacement because of it.

Had on the day blood test. No mention that I should fast. Serious results. No questioning if I fasted. Had blood test 3 mo later different location, after fasting. Results ok. Two chances to correct his error. Crickets.

While treating me for Temporal Arteritis, Dr. Carro removed a cyst without a biopsy. The pathology came back as Leiomyosarcoma. Because of the way it was removed, I had to do three rounds of Chemo, have another operation to remove what he missed. Because of the way it was done, they also sent me for 29 radiation treatments which would not have been necessary if it had been done properly the first time. Then the financial office shut me off from care until I paid the $400 and some odd dollars.

He is very personable and very caring. Spends time checking me over each visit . Good about referrals . Very satisfied. Most of the office is smiling and says hi, but one is never smiling and a ts put out when asked something. Other wise a great staff.
