Dr. Antonio Caycedo

I was very disappointed in how I was treated. I went to him with a rectocele and he refused to examine me. He said I "needed to go to my gastroenterologist and have a colonoscopy if I wanted to be examined". Then he went on to tell me that "all women have problems going the bathroom" and he is not dealing with that. He supposedly ordered physical therapy, but they never called me. When I called his office to get the number to set it up myself, they refused to give me the number to set up an appointment. It wasn't until I went to see another physician that I was finally able to set up physical therapy for a now-diagnosed pelvic floor dysfunction that was only diagnosed thanks to my gastroenterologist ordering the testing to get to the root of the problem. In addition, he performed exploratory laparoscopic surgery for possible adhesions causing my pain. He didn't even talk to me after surgery and had a resident talk to me. He prescribed nothing for pain, not even prescription-strength… Motrin. This is one of the worst physicians I have ever met as a patient. He clearly does not care about helping his patients. I guess he is new to the area, so there were no ratings to warn me about how bad he is. Don't waste your time with him. If I could give him a negative star rating, I would.
