This was by far the most positive experience with a doctor and doctor's office. The level of professionalism of the office staff is clearly a strong reflection of the high caliber of care and professionalism of Dr Parente. Every level of service was expertly handled- from making the appointment, to the start of the appointment and completion. The reception staff making the appointment was exceedingly polite, patient and helpful. They provided all the helpful information to prepare for the appointment, to include forms to complete, as well as get to the office for the first time. Had I not had the instructions on which parking lot to use and which elevators to take, getting to the appointment would have been frustrating. Then the waiting room, which in this case was misnamed as there was NO waiting for the doctor. I have NEVER had less than a 30 min wait for a doctor. For the life of me I don't know why there is ALWAYS a long wait. But with Dr Parente, I was called into his… office ON TIME! Shocking...Then I continued to be shocked. We sat down and, he LISTENED to me. He patiently listened to my concerns, prompted me with questions, and educated me on areas of concern. He did this all in his office, with patience and respect, all before even moving to an exam room. Aside from being a much more civilized approach, he established trust and confidence. The conduct of the exam, the running of tests, and then his appraisal continued to inspire trust and provide information all while answering my questions and addressing my concerns with patience. Whatever brings you to a specialist's office brings you there with worry and concern. Dr Parente and staff from the beginning of your involvement take great efforts to provide a comfortable and positive experience. I'd like to see him for all my medical concerns, even if the common cold wouldnt be the best use of a cardiologists time!

Dr. Parente answered all my questions without my feeling rushed. He clearly keeps informed of the latest research in his area. His office called me after I was delinquent in setting up my next appointment. I highly recommend him as a cardiologist.
