The in hospital care was ideal. My only complaint is that I sent a letter to the attention of Dr Pepe with some questions about post-op issues, but never received a response to my inquiries. This surprised me as my contact with Doug, Dr Pepe;s medical assistant, was very thorough.

Dr Pepe is a highly skilled surgeon, most of all he is very caring, he takes time to answer all your questions, explains your health issue, what needs to be done and makes you feel very confident in the outcome! We love Dr Pepe!!

The entire experience at Grand Strand Regional was memorable because of the professionalism of Dr Pepe, his assistant Doug, and everyone involved in my surgery.

Dr. Pepe was great during my hospital. He made me feel as if I was his only patient with the way he would discuss everything with me.

He was such an Amazing DR. He saved my life I have no doubts about that. He also went above and beyond most DR. He explains everything like you need to understand and he never got sick of my numerous questions he helped me understand what I was up against and helped Me and my family thru a tough time with such compassion I tell everyone about him and how he changed my life. He always will be One of My Hero's and all his colleagues and the staff at his office were great and always genuinely cared how I was doing. He's a Great Surgeon and an Amazing Guy in General but he saved my life so I might be alittle bit overwhelmed with his overall kindness and caring genuinely about his patients!! Hard to find in a DR one that goes that extra mile.

I found Dr.Pepe thru my niece,a RN, at GSMC. DrPepe and staff were very nice and efficient. My surgery went without a hitch. We were told exactly what to expect and how long recovery would take. I would recommend this practice.

I've seen over 8 different Doctors in the last 18 months and gotten no answers from any. Most didn't even seem to care that I was in encrustiating pain. He did an emergency open wound surgery on a Septic Absess with great recovery.That's how I found him Dr. PePe cares like no other I've seen. It doesn't matter how many patients are waiting to see him. He gives you his total presence and time. I'm on his cheering TEAM!! Oh, and Doug that runs the show is also the BEST.

Went to Grand strand E R.and followed us with Dr.Pepe he saw I was in pain and immediately took care of me. Had my surgery and doing much better.
