In this day and time, especially in Shreveport, it is extremely difficult to find a doctor that is professional, competent, and compassionate. Dr. Pizarro is all the above. I am a new patient and I am very, very impressed with the doctor, the clinic, and the follow-up. I got reliable notifications/reminders of my appointment. I got a live person when I called to set up the appt. My needs were handled promptly. My wait time was almost 1 minute! Dr. Pizarro sees you HIMSELF! How amazing is that... he does it all, no NP, no PA, you really see your doctor! Hard to believe and very appreciated. He also enters his exam notes into your file and portal. He is timely on doing so. Dr. Pizarro even calls you to tell you the pap results. So refreshing... i wish all doctors were like Dr. Pizarro.

Entire staff friendly and helpful ( I literally can not express just how wonderful the ENTIRE staff is). Physician explained details that were easy to understand, & did not rush, taking time to listen to my concerns. Physician is outcome driven to give you the best possible quality of life, not just give you more meds or surgical procedures that may not be necessary. I felt like I was talking to a friend instead of a physician that I just met.

I was referred to Dr. Antonio Pizarro for some post-menopausal bleeding. After a thorough examination, diagnostic testing, and discussion of all options, I opted for a D&C which rectified the problem. Seven years later, the problem presented again so I went back to Dr. Pizarro. I found him to be just as personable, thorough and attentive as the first time. Unfortunately, another D&C and hormone treatment did not help, so a robotic hysterectomy was performed. Fortunately, I had no cancer and no pre-cancer cells following my surgery I am 55 years old and never took the first pain pill after an overnight stay in the hospital. I have been very pleased with Dr. Pizarro treatment of me. My family was also impressed with his willingness to explain and insure their understanding of my procedures and overall health concerns.

While there is nothing fun about going to the doctor, they make the whole experience as comfortable as possible. Dr. Pizarro is very easy to talk to and explains everything until it is understood! The entire staff made me feel welcome, and at ease!! He needed to refer me to another doctor for an unrelated issue...they called me less than 2 hours later to make the appointment. Very impressed!
