Dr. Antonio Reeves Rozier, MD

He talks down on patients, abruptly in the hall where everyone can hear. This was my first and last encounter with this physician and he definitely made light of my illness. I was so hurt and humiliated. He does not care about patient’s pain nor HIPPA. Will never return.

Even when in total agreement with this Dr during my first two visits he would continually talk over me and gave me little to no time to express my concerns or thoughts. So I should have expected what I got on my third visit when I tried to my best to get him to listen to me. He got loud with me, raising his voice several times allowing everyone in the office and other exam rooms to clearly hear him. He proceeded to laugh at me under his breath before cutting me off once again to tell me I could go get a second opinion if I didn't want to do what he thought was the right thing for me. He was totally dismissive and rude. If I hadn't been waiting for over a month for the injections in hopes that they will bring me some form of relief I would not be going back.

Dr. Rozier is a rare doctor that thinks out of the box and truly wants to help his patients with their pain. He is a lovely man and a wonderful doctor. I am extremely grateful to have found him.

Having no hip to speak of, crushed in an auto accident in 2003 where it was pinned and MRI reflects bone on bone at this point, in pain with every movement Mr. Rozier advised me to move more. In near continuous pain after a month of "moving more" in a follow-up visit Mr. Rozier repeatedly asked why I was there and refused to listen to my answer. After being accused of looking for pain meds - I used a 45 tablet prescription over an 8-month period - I fired him and wouldn't recommend him.

Dr Rozier always makes sure that I understand what procedures he recommends for my back pain. He has a great bed side manner.

Dr. Rozier saw me for a diagnosis of cervical disc pain that I had for at least 10 years. I was referred to him by Dr. Meyrat, my neurologist. The level of pain I experienced was from a low of 4 to high of 7. I could not take any narcotics and the anti-inflammatory drugs I was taking were not giving me much relief. I also began developing high blood pressure for the first time in my life. It was so erratic that my primary physician did not want to start me on blood pressure medication since when my pain was low my blood pressure was normal. But when I was in pain it was over 160/90. Dr. Rozier and his staff told me they thought they could help me. I was hopeful but also doubted much could be done. I had my first two treatments done 3 weeks and six weeks after my initial visit. They injected steroids into the sensory nerves that were causing the pain. They monitored me the whole time to be sure the injections were going to the right location. I was given lidocaine to prevent… pain during the procedure. After arriving home I had no pain at all but it only lasted a few days and then the pain slowly returned. Each time I went to his office, his staff took excellent care of me making sure they relieved my pain during the procedure by asking me frequently if I was okay. The last treatment they used were lasers to burn the sensory nerves that were causing my pain. When I left I was pain free but he reassured me it would take at least 3 weeks before those nerves would stop giving me pain. I just went into see him today and I told him I only have arthritic pain, a pain level from 0 to 3 and the best news my blood pressure was back to normal at 116/ 76. I thank God for leading me to you Dr. Rozier. May God bless you not only for your expertise but for your support and excellent care.

His bedside manner is horrible. He berated me on things he had no clue about regarding my lifestyle and medical treatments. He recommended procedures without an exam because my insurance would pay for it. When I didn't want to jump to do them, I was told I was wasting his time and taking up space that someone else could use. Don't see this guy if you want to be treated kindly at all.

I am extremely impressed with Dr. Rozier, and hope to continue to see him for my migraines. I give him 5 stars! Unfortunately I cannot say the same for his staff. I saw the doctor on Aug. 27 and at that time he issued his staff to order an MRI for me. As of today, Sept. 14, it still has not been done. His staff did not complete the radiology order correctly, and it was requested by Baylor, Scott & White that they should redo it. They did nothing until I made several phone calls. When they finally re-sent the order they again did not complete it correctly. This seems a bit scary to me that they do not know how to correctly complete a radiology request. This could result in having the wrong test done, or cause the insurance to not pay for it. Again, B, S & W sent them a request, explaining in detail how to correctly complete it. No response. B,S & W sent a 3rd request. Still no response. It is very sad and frustrating that such an excellent doctor has such an inadequate staff. This alone… could lead to a patient needing to locate a different doctor.

Your are a top notch Doctor with great expertise and bedside manner. I wish more were like you.
