Dr. Antonio De Villa Salud II, MD

Dr. Salud is an incredible pulmonologist who took the time to truly listen to our family. During my mother's hospital admission, he arranged a family meeting, helped us come together during a very difficult time, and validated each of our experiences with compassion and care. It felt more like the work of a gifted family therapist. This is how medicine should be.

Dr. Salud embraced such empathy and care for my family. His ability to articulate what was happening was so important and valuable beyond words.

He doesn't have the expertise he claims to have. My father was in ICU and went septic. Dr. Salud didn't know it until one of my family members told him and he continued to deny it until the day my father died. I would expect him and his staff of ICU nurses to know and be able to identify septicimia. St Mary's Hospital and their staff were a major disappointment to my family. I would never admit a loved one to this hospital again.
