Dr. Antony George Sankoorikal, MD

This man is a l veritable Black eye on the once good name of Baycare. Extremely nasty disposition, no bedside manner and openly hostile towards LGBT patients. I wish I had two more hands so I could give him four thumbs down.

I was nervous to see him due to all the negative reviews. He was nothing like I read. He actually cared to touch my joints, ask me questions and told me my diagnosis. Then he actually gave me many options for treatment (didn’t happen at the other 3 RA doctors). When discussing the different options he actually explained the different side effects and what worked best. He also stated we should start with a minimum option and see how it helps me. He was kind to me and even giggled. Please do not believe the negative things. I was on my last leg trying to hold myself together because of my pain and he gave me hope again. He didn’t push drugs, not pain meds. He actually knew what might help and wanted to help me. My new RA for sure.

I bought a DEWALT 20V MAX Combo Kit that was advertised on Facebook. When I clicked on the link it took me to an online website where it can be purchased. After going through checkout and paying, my bank shows that the payment was processed to ANTONY SANKOORIKAL MD COSMETICSCENT FL, not to the website. I was sent no email receipt nor what I purchased.

I bought a switch on an online website and when I checked my bank it showed that it was processed to him, not the website. I can no longer find the website (I originally found it on Facebook) and I was sent no email recite. I am currently on a long hold with my bank to see if I can cancel the payment.

This doctor treats medicaid patients poorly. I recommend you also check his healthgrades reviews as they're quite different than here. In my case he threw out several years of past history with a rheumetologist and other doctors, diagnoses, and background paperwork in favor of two blood tests and an office visit and declared all prior diagnoses null and void. Only been to this doctor twice, but already had another patient absolutely rave about how she'd been diagnosed with several things until this doctor told her she had almost nothing wrong with her. Ignoring your health can shorten your life. At least one of my health problems can cause heart problems, and if I went with what countryside Arthritis center just did because I'd like to not be on medication, I'd live a shorter life. Be wary. He told to see an allergist for my symptoms (which makes no sense and I've had years with an allergist, who was treating me for sinus problems and watching food allergies and he never once… mentioned my rheumetology diagnoses were caused by allergies). I told him to write it on my records, thinking I'd like proof because this was bizarre. He wrote it on an index card instead, and his office staff refused me a copy of medical records before I left. As this is my second visit, and I'm already shocked he has a medical license and is a real doctor, I won't be returning.

Today was my second appointment with Dr. Sankoorikal. One again, he did not listen, ignores symptoms and history, diagnoses on blood tests only. Today he kicked me out of his of his and told me not to return, because I had the audacity to explain my past reactions to similar medication. I told him that he's the only Specialist of his kind in the county that takes my insurance, he doesn't care. He refuses to see me again because he doesn't want to have to actually interact with patients. I would think I was going crazy, had I not brought a friend with me who also witnessed this doctor's awful behavior.

Very professional, I can't see why everyone doesn't rate him with 5 stars. Referred by a family member and I am very happy with his services.

Dr.Sankoorikal is a great doctor who listens to the patient & takes care of them with great attention

Excellent physician. I have been dealing with symptoms on and off for 18 plus years...I finally found a physician that accurately diagnosed me after running extensive labs. He does not have the best bed side manners, however I'm wasn't looking to socialize I was looking for answers. I recommend 100%

I have been having health issues that my primary doctor has been unable to diagnose, I asked to see a specialist and my doctor sent me to doctor sankaorikal and he talked to me and examined my blood work and gave me a physical exam. He has given me a script for more blood work and I have now found a doctor who is concerned and willing to spend the time to find out what is causing his patients problems and not merely giving them drugs to mask the real issues.
