Horrible:my nephew had appendectomy and got infected , wound opened.Treatment plan was to use gauze and tap water to pack abdominal wound.Save yourself the unnecessary complications,avoid this surgeons at all cost.

Dr. Dua Failed to research my anatomy prior to surgery. Gall Bladder removal. As a result, he cut my common bile duct beyond repair. I was critically injured. I went from 175lbs to 99 lbs. in less than 2 months. I spent 6+ months at a REAL hospital, under a REAL doctor's care. Dr. Dua expressed no concern for my injuries. I then had a massive heart attack as a result of the stress put on my body.

Horrible infection rate!

Dr. Dua is fantastic. I have been operated on 4 times. Dr. Dua operated on the first and last ones. He would have done all 4 if my insurance would have allowed it at the time. My insurance now allowed whichever doctor I preferr and Dr. Dua is the only doctor I will ever allow to operate on me. I would requirement him to any and all. I just can't say enough good things about Dr. Dua and his staff!

Standard cyst removal. Poor follow-up. Poor diagnosis. Poor Service.

Conservative surgeon, meaning he uses all alternatives to alleviate the problem to avoid surgery. Explains his diagnosis, discusses the procedure to be used to correct the problem, and has a pleasing personality, a good "bedside" manner.

I had a cyst on my upper/inner thigh. I was seen by my MD who said I needed a surgeon. I found Dr. Dua via Google looking for a surgeon in Towne Lake or Woodstock or Canton area. I was lucky to have found him. The procedure went great and Dr. Dua explained to be before hand how everything would work and it was all ok. Mine was a hosp procedure as he had to put me under to remove the cyst. I rcvd a phn call the following day at home checking up on me. Hoping I won't need anymore surgery...but if I ever do I will def see Dr. Dua again.

She would be dead today. He was the first doctor that has set down, drawn a picture and explained in detail the surgery he was about to perform. When others would have given up on my elderly mother, he stayed the time, worked until he had done as much as possibly could be done. She is alive today, because of him.He will be doing my next surgery, also!
