Dr. Anuj Khattar

Dr. Khattar has amazing bedside manner. He is the type of doctor that chose his profession because he is drawn to help others. As a patient I feel that every time I come for a visit. He is genuinely caring, kind, respectful, understanding, and *interested*(this is a big one). I always get the feeling that he is truly listening to what I'm saying AND cares and wants to fix it. He is very quick about responding to calls/emails and in general he is extremely accessible. He is a semi *new* doctor, (at the time of this review he's been in practice 3 years) but don't let that sway your opinion for even one second. This guy is the real deal and the best doctor I've ever seen. Team Khattar! :)

Sadly, I had to go into the ER on Thursday due to some heavy bleeding and cramping very early in my pregnancy. I was seen immediately and met Dr. Khattar about 15 minutes into my visit. He was very calm and kind, which was exactly what i needed due to my fragile state. This was my first pregnancy and I was traveling from Nevada to Washington on vacation. I was away from my family and very scared. Dr. Khattar went over everything with me and repeated things when i didnt understand. He answered all of my questions and made me feel as comfortable as i could have possibly been in my situation. Once we started to realize what most likely happened (miscarriage) He came in to talk to me about how I was feeling and made sure that I understood that nothing i did or did not do made it happen and that nothing was my fault. We also talked about other options for the future with contraceptives and pregnancy. Once i was ready to be discharged he came back in and explained everything to both my… boyfriend and I. He made a completely unbarable situation to something i was able to slowly take in and accept. I really feel if I had anyone else, I would have gone crazy. He even gave me a step by step guide for what to do next with my follow up appointment and a sheet that went into detail of every test they ran on me and what it all meant. I could never express how much at ease he made me feel for such a terrible situation. If you are reading this Dr.K, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
