There are times when I think she has my case handled. Then something happens to make me think either she doesn't fully understand me or she just doesn't care. I have usually gotten doctors that can empathize with me and work toward a goal. Not in this case. She seems to always be preoccupied and never really listens to me. I always feel rushed, and it makes me want to switch doctors.

When I first met Dr Shahane I liked her. She is nice and seems knowledgable. However over the years she has become narrow minded. When she sees a set of symptoms she orders a specific test, if the results are not what she is looking for she is like “oh well, see you in six months and continue taking advil”. Six months later it is the same thing again. I am sure if you are already diagnosed and go to see her she is great, but otherwise I would stay clear.
