Dr. Anuradha Agrawal, MD

Dr. Agrawal has seen our child since he was born. The child was healthy and we liked the doctor for being friendly and never rushing us out of the office. Well, one day our child got sick. He was running a fever, no energy, was cranky and fussy. We went to see the doc 2 times and she diagnosed him with a common cold, listened to his lungs few times (we had 2 appointments, several days apart, since teh condition wasn't improving), but didn't find anything concerning. The child stopped eating - she advised to go to the park, throw a picnic, to trick him and feed him. It was the most outrageous advice we ever heard from a doctor. My intuition told me to show my child to a different pediatrician, who diagnosed him with a pneumonia right on the spot. The child even had stopped drinking by that time. The new doctor gave him a shot and advised to administer to a hospital if the condition doesn't improve overnight. Luckily, he started feeling better. I don't even want to imagine what could've… happened had we followed Dr. Agrawal's advice. We never came back to see her again.

Dr. Agrawal is a great doctor. We have been with her since my son was born in 2013 She cares for her patients and takes time to answer all of our questions. I love that i can go to her for any advice regarding my kids health and well-being. Her staff is wonderful and helpful getting us in quickly when our little ones are sick. She also truly cares for my children & takes time during each visit, we never feel rushed. very knowledgeable when making decisions regarding my children’s treatments. Awesome provider every time

I took my child for a sick visit today I was cornered by the office manager Nicole about the review I put a few months back due to their overbilling practices. Then she asked me " you have given a bad review why are you still here?". Then she threatened me that they would discharge me from the clinic if I don't edit my review. They could have called me and clarified it prior to this appt. Instead they brought me to the clinic and when I was in distress with my sick child they came to harass me about the review that was given 4 months back. I felt harassed, intimidated and vulnerable sitting in this clinic with my sick child. They could have called me and discharged me long time ago instead of bringing me to the clinic to harass me in front of my 7 yr old child. My child felt threatened by her as well. Then I thought of discussing with the Dr and it was even worse. The Dr said she sent the office manager to talked to me about this. Dr felt like " I was slapped in the face with… your bad review" which was not my intention. I felt very intimidated. I had questions on my bills and this office manager was rude and unhelpful in the past and the only way I could get my point across is doing a review (charging for well visit when it was fully paid by the insurance). You can read other reviews in google several other people who have concerns about their billing. I felt very intimidated, harassed and horrified by the staff. I am still in fear what else they will do. I am writing this review because I do not want any parent to go through this. Being a Medical professional for past 20 yrs, this is first time I ever experienced this type of unprofessionalism. I regret bringing my children to this clinic.

My three children have been going to Dr. Agrawal for almost eight years. When we fist started there our experiences were good. Wait time was minimal, staff was professional, and Dr. Agrawal was attentive. The downside has always been her high staff turnover (I'm not sure what this is about, but she has offered jobs to parents during checkups - so I don't think its positive). About two years ago some changes were made to her office. She began accepting CHIP and Medicaid, and she joined with Dr. Ghadoni. Full disclosure, my children have been on CHIP for two years, but since the changes have been made to PVG pediatrics, the professionalism and integrity of the practice has taken a serious turn for the worse. It's possible that this is simply coincidence, but since my children have been on CHIP our wait time has been at least an hour, we have never received follow up phone calls for lab results, and the last straw was when Dr. Agrawal refused service to my two year old who was standing… in her office waiting for her 10:30 a.m. appointment because the office staff would not make change for our cash payment. I can no longer in good conscience recommend this practice to anyone.

Dr. Agrawal's office is terrible and my wife and I had an extremely unpleasant experience with her. For our two week regular routine checkup for our newborn, she asked us to remove his clothes and proceeded to handle him roughly, put him face down making it hard to breathe, and caused him to cough and vomit. Instead of recognizing the problem, she said that we would need to go to the ER (emergency room) - all within FIVE MINUTES of seeing the kid! After the visit, the baby was sleeping like an angel and appeared just fine - certainly not a life-or-death situation. Her office went through some really unprofessional behaviors and tactics. Long story short, we went to the emergency room despite our disagreement and when we went, the hospital staff said that he was 100% healthy, great weight, great oxygen levels, everything. They were confused as to why we were even sent to the ER in the first place. In summary, if you want a doctor that will nickel and dime you, make rush and snap… judgements, and treat patients unethically and unprofessionally, Dr. Agrawal is for you. Otherwise, do what I didn't do and read her reviews online beforehand (I didn't research before and trusted the hospital recommendation - my fault). Apparently I am not the only one with a complaint about her services.

We love Dr. Agrawal. She is very patient, kind and caring. She is willing to answer all our questions and take time to explain things to us. We like her way of not treating with antibiotics each time our baby has a cold. We are glad she is there when we need her. We try not to call her for everything, but when we do need to call her after hours, her fee is worth the advice that we get, instead of waiting in the ER for 6 hours and still having to pay a high copay. Her staff is always courteous and polite. We are very fortunate to have her as our pediatrician.

Dr. Agrawal may be nice, but she is definitely not a pediatrician I would ever recommend. She does not spend enough time with baby, she does not connect with baby. She does not make you feel like your child is her top priority, instead just another baby in her list of appts. My baby had issues with her left eye, and I took her up there three times for her eye problem. The third time I took her, she refused to give her eye drops, and said to just keep massaging her eye. I told her my baby seemed to be congested and she did not even pick my baby up to listen to her chest. She was holding the door to leave the room as I asked her questions. Made me feel like she didnt want to answer anything, my questions were stupid, and she had NO TIME FOR ME. I asked more than once what do I do if my baby is congested, her answer was NOTHING SHE WILL OPEN HER MOUTH AND BREATH OUT OF HER MOUTH. I have never had a doctor answer my questions in such a manner. As a first time mom, after that… last visit, I was extremely upset. I went home, and immediately looked for another pediatrician. Definitely not recommended.

Why would an office only accept NEWBORNS???? My daughter is one.. we relocated to area.. looking for a new doctor.. The "accepting new patients" needs to come off the site..

We love Dr. Agrawal! I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room and she is ALWAYS on time with her appointments. Not only does she and her staff know my children by name, her bed side manner is fantastic and she is great with follow-up. At each appointment she takes time to listen to any questions/concerns I have and gives me knowledgeable answers. I will absolutely refer her to any of my friends that need a pediatrician.
