Dr. Anurag Sharma, MD

I consider myself fortunate to have found a Doctor who is beyond compassionate, empathetic, nurturing and kind. To find a Dr who doesn't make me feel like a number and listens in turn providing a level of safety in knowing he is there. With Dr. Sharma I have know doubt he has earned his halo far before I came into his exitance but I am eternally grateful for ALL he has done for me and for all he continues to do for his patients. Blessed for knowing him! a TRUE earth angel!

This "doctor" took bloodwork that was not covered by my insurance. It was experimental according to my health insurance provider. I was not informed about this ahead of time, so either he was negligent in not telling me or he didn't know, which makes him incompetent. Either way, it is a sad state of affairs for me, because after three months of stress and endless phone calls to the medical staff, my insurance provider, and the lab, I am stuck paying $360, which I can not afford, for these tests. I should also point out that no one in this medical group returns phone calls, unless they are trying to get you to remove a critical review. Someone who has cancer or someone who may have cancer or another scary blood illness does not need aggravation like this from his doctor. If you're contemplating using this doctor or anyone in this group, I urge you to give weight to my review. This all happened the very first time I saw this doctor.

Dr. Sharma helped diagnose and care for my father at Hartford Hospital. He showed himself to be a very patient and compassionate individual in breaking the news of terminal cancer to my father. Dr. Sharma took the time to make certain that my very elderly and nearly deaf father heard and understood the diagnosis and prognosis, and also sat and talked and listened as my father told of his life and began to process what he had just learned. Later that day, Dr. Sharma telephoned me in another part of the country to explain the situation to me and answer my questions. Both with my father and with me, Dr. Sharma seemed as if he would take as much time as we needed and give us all the answers we requested. Although I have never met him in person, I am grateful to have had Dr. Sharma tend to my father and be the one to help him and to help me understand his terminal situation.

Dr. Sharma saved my life. He has been a great friend and one of the best doctors I have ever interacted with. Dr. Sharma is not emotional distant like so many others in the field. He truly cares about his patients and it shows with the level of care you receive from him.

Met Dr Sharma for the first time and would say it was a pleasant experience. The Dr was thorough and professional. I feel I’m in good hands going forward.

In this time of stress from the diagnosis of cancer and the anxiety from the Covid virus, we were more than pleased to have a teleconference with Dr. Sharma. He explained the reports on biopsy and treatment plan, and was patient with our questions and concerns. Thank you Dr. Sharma for helping us visualize a plan and the journey before us.

Dr. Sharma is the best. Takes time to fully explain everything that's going on, what options are available and what to expect. He takes time to reassure you and make certain that you are completely aware of the plan for treatment. At every appointment I get the same time and care from him. I highly recommend Dr Sharma!

Dr. Sharma is great - very professional, confident, and courteous. He took time to explain my condition and appropriate treatments. He listened to my concerns and put me at ease. He shows a lot of expertise in his field. Most of all, he is compassionate and cares about his patients.

Have seen Dr. Sharma a few times now and each time was a great experience. He takes time to go over testing and explains everything. Very good demeanor and is extremely knowledgeable . Would recommend him to anyone.
