Doesn’t listen just wants to over medicate you. I went to get off medication that was giving me paradoxical effects. She tried to force medication that defeats the purpose of my voluntary treatment. She wouldn’t DC any medication. When she was out & another Dr. filled in is the only time I received appropriate assistance. She doesn’t even see her pts everyday but, knows what’s best by reading a chart..? I didn’t receive appropriate treatment with her as my Dr. she actually kept me from moving forward keeping me with others on a different level than myself. Since, I refused inappropriate medication & marked as non-compliant-I lost my private physician. Not everyone is appropriate for IOP as after care. It doesn’t Help to make plans that will knowingly have me regress with lack of appropriate treatment knowing I needed help finding a solo therapist/Doctor who would have been in my best interest in order to move forward. I was threatened with Ancora as scare tactics to comply. “Do you… want to be sent to ancora.” Nothing she did/does has been helpful. The fact you’re here-(IP) was her response for everything “well, you’re here”. Trying to reason with her is next to impossible. She has to be right - in control & you have absolutely no say in your treatment. Her methods of just over medicating & playing her games are not helpful! I left worse than, the day I signed in. She keeps you as long as possible until, the insurance company cuts off. Unlike, Dr. H who is amazing and actually listens & makes treatment individualized as it should be! He saw me every day & kept me a week-I felt great leaving. She kept me over a month & I felt the worst I have in my life. I left with a plan I followed through with that I didn’t have before I went for help. I received appropriate treatment in another facility that cared about after care & having say in your treatment especially, when other treatment has failed in the past. It’s not one size fits all. I had been misdiagnosed since, 2007. I finally have the correct Dx & I am treated as a person not just a Dx & a paycheck.
