Dr. Anwar Mohammed Haque, MD

I think Dr. Anwar Haque is an excellent physician. He took the time to properly diagnose my issues and recommend proper treatmment. Unfortunately his support staff is the worst. They are incompetent, rude and impossible to actually contact in real time. It is nearly impossible to get a live person on the phone. I have had several occasions where I made a 50 mile 1 way trip to his office at a time and date they gave me only to be told that they have no record of my appointment. Recently I called them 6 times to try to make an appointment and no response received or a voicemail on one occasion that it was impossible to respond to. The menus on their voicemail or answering service all reach dead ends. All they tell you is to call 911 if you have an emergency. All you can do is leave your own voicemail and hope they respond. Usually the do not respond. They do not respond to faxes. I am probably going to be looking for a different physician in a different group just due to… the difficulties of interacting with his office which is a shame because it has nothing to do with Dr. Haque except that he is surrounded by inadequate support staff.

Dr Haque is one of the rudest physicians we have encountered. Our family has many physicians in it and we are educated, intelligent people. Dr Haque was insulting and turned his back on patient and family members when asked questions, was very harsh with staff in front of us. His demeanor increases stress in an already stressful situation and his aggressiveness with the staff is clearly disruptive to the otherwise fabulous care we received. The staff are either afraid or simply irritated by him. Follow up with external doctors is ignored or beneath him. His bedside manner is atrocious and adversely affects patient care and family confidence. He needs training in ethics and empathy !
