Dr. Anwar Ahmad Khan, MD

Dr said I was 63 going on 83. Directly told me I'm too sick for his time. All because the VA told me to see an ER doctor for painful external hemorrhoids. And that I take to many meds. My wife went with me to be a new patient too but walked out upon observing his mannerisms.

Dr. Kahn and his staff are terrible people the only care about your copay. DO NOT LET THE GOOD REVIEWS FOOL YOU!!! He will only refer you to specific doctors and if you want to see someone else in your network he will refuse to give you the referral. Stephanie is the worst one out of them all she is the instigator and is demeaning and flat out retarded if you ask me she has no true medical knowledge. My Mother, father and grandmother will never ever be back to them again. My father was missed diagnosed telling him that he had "allergies" fora whole year and come to find out he has stage 4 lung cancer and is now in treatment thanks to a self referral to a pulmonologist. My mother needed to see a GYN specialist and he refused to give her a referral unless she went to the specific doctor he picked. Also she had an abnormal mammogram that went unnoticed for 3 months finally I got the report myself and I had her see a breast specialist and now needs a biopsy... They are just careless… sorry excuses fro medical professionals!....

Please don't go to this Doctor. I'm very well aware of the care level of many doctors and this man is not even on the low rung of professional of personal care. Another person rating called him "rude" this doesn't even come close to the experience my family and I had. As an medical advocate, I was stunned to the point of confusion. He insulted me and my family member several times in the 12 minutes he spent with us. He wouldn't answer questions of basic concern on medications or symptoms. Yes, you read that right, "wouldn't" answer. He insulted and literally laughed off our questions. In retrospect, I wonder if he is trained medically to have the answers. Everything we experienced happed so quickly, we were stunned and left speechless. He told my dad (95) he was "lucky to be alive, just go enjoy the rest of your life, you have lived longer than most" Yes that is a quote. As he left, he ask is that all? I said, no, I had a few things I wanted to talk to you about my… dad, and he said, "you have talked enough, who is your doctor?" I ask why? He said "I think you need help" as he reached over and sympathetically rubbed my arm, before he walked out. He was diagnosing me as mentally ill! I was speechless. We were escorted out to PAY! All in 12 minutes. Please spare yourself and your family of this. My dad cried when he got in the car. It's taken me weeks to lift him out of it to fight and enjoy life again. He's fine now. I've waited to write this review, my first ever, as to not come across too harshly. But this is what happened to us. I can only wish I was making this up, it was a twilight zone nightmare.

Stephanie is an asset to Dr. Staff. Dr. Khan tells it like it is! Glad he is our Dr.

I would have to say that I couldn't be any more happier to be with such a kind and caring doctor. I've been going to him for the past couple of years now and him and the staff have treated me with the most dignity and respect.

Followup/Follow through is practically non-existent. Prescriptions and/or referrals are never sent to the other provider.

I went to see Dr. Khan today for an on going pain in my right side. He asked me several times what I was diagnosed with and I told him several times that they had not found what was causing my pain. He basically called me a liar walked out of the room and told his staff "I can't see this man". I will be calling my insurance provider.

Nurse Stephanie has a bad attitude! I was having a great day untill i had to make a phone call to Dr. Khan's office, I was transfered to "Nurse" Stephanie who basically put a damper on my Friday!! Why be rude to people...? Her bad attitude rubbed off on me so much that I am sitting here typing a review for the first time in my life. I refused to call that office ever again. I hope they fire her!!!!! She should treat people with more kindness and respect.
