Dr. Anwar Mohiuddin Vardag, MD

The worst pediatric doctor in existence. Has no idea what he’s doing nor where he’s going. He should be removed from any position where he could harm any kids. Accordingly to no capacity should he be able to touch or treat any form of matter specifically children.

This guy should be in prison. He's killed hundreds of children over his career working at delray trauma center and west boca medical center. I strongly encourage other parents and family to speak out against this awful human being. The medical board needs to take disciplinary action towards him and put him in prison. His license needs to be revoked. Rude, disrespectful and causes harm/death to the poor children under his care.

One of our kids stayed 2 days at the PICU, and Dr. Anwar Vargad was in charge. We appreciated his professionalism as well as his entire crew.

Daughter was admitted to the PICU @4 days old. They operated on her for jaundice. They spent 6 hours trying to get an IV in, which I thought could drive even higher the jaundice levels. about 4 nurses came in. each doesn't know what was happening and doesn't understand why the nurse before her couldn't get an IV in, and keeps trying without success. after 6 hours, I asked them to stop to feed my baby as I thought she;'d just get dehydrated from the lack of fluid which is already a concern with Juandice. He finally came up, and operated for 2 hours and I could hear my baby screaming through the double doors, he tried going in through the belly which is completely dump after 4 days as it had closed, then though the groing then through the neck. Our daughter was shiverring uncontrollably for 3 hours afterwards, I asked if they would put some kind of anatesia or topical pain killers. He told me that at 4 days they are basically pieces of flesh... no feelings.. Then he told me her collar… bone was broken from birth, which is not his fault, and she has an infection from birth, 4 days prior. They put on very strong antibiotics that my pharmacist friend told it is very dangerous for adults and could damage their kidney never mind a baby. later on I asked for what kind of bacteria they found with the infection, he gave me 2 names, when I looked them up, I found out they are normal skin bacteria.. when I confronted him, he mentioned they just had to take precautions.. I tried to move her out as I started suspecting I am being scammed, or my insurance that it, I had noticed the beds in the PICU are getting full and he told me it is ok to get her out, but the next day, it was only her and he told me he wants to keep her for a few more days for observations. Finally, after 2 weeks, he told me he wants to keep her for a few more days as he noticed her mouth is wrapped towards the right and wants to get some additional tests, I asked him to show and he did but that was just a baby sleeping on their right side. I flipped her over to the other side and her mouth was now warped to the left. He got offended, started telling me that he will not be responsible if I am a parent that don't care for the welfare of their child and using some scare tactics. I held firm and got her out after singing a bunch of paper.. He was very nasty on the way out. The nurse during the 2 week stay were amazing but I felt it was all business and they put us and my child through much trauma.. I should've sued the doctor and the hospital for this hassle.

This man thinks he is the first and only picu doctor in the United States. I couldn’t stand him for the 4 days my son was admitted at west boca medical center. I eventually demanded a transfer and joe d hospital went against his entire care plan. This guy is a total nut. Can’t believe he has such a high position of power !!

Dr. Vardag is an asset to the field of Pediatric Critical Care. His expertise, dedication, compassion, and bedside manner, is in my opinion.. at the highest standards of pediatric intensive care. He has an undoubted gift from God to heal parents most precious gifts, their children.

Great personality and very knowledgeable. Takes time to explain and makes sure you understand.
