Dr. Aparna Bhagwant Hernandez, MD

Dr. Hernandez cares and that seems rare these days. She saved my life. Period. Without her caring about me and insisting I do tests that other doctors didn’t think were needed, I would never have known I had a dangerously high calcium score. She and her team have done nothing other than support me and give me the medical care and life advice I need to improve my health and give me a fighting chance. I have lost 55 pounds in 90 days on a healthy diet and with moderate exercise. My bloodwork and overall health are dramatically improved and my overall outlook is dramatically and positively improved. I have a lot to live for and thanks to Dr. Hernandez…I will!!!

Dr Hernandez is, by far, the most compassionate, knowledgeable, trustworthy doctor I’ve ever had. Always spends considerable time addressing my concerns and truly cares about my health and general wellbeing.

AWFUL The doctor was terribly rude and made me feel so inferior. Took advantage of my insurance. VERY UPSET and would not go back!

She is most definitely rude and condescending as the others have said. She is hurried and barely let me speak. Her appearance is far from professional with teased hair and excessively made up eyes! Avoid her and find a doctor who listens and has compassion for others!

The receptionist at the front desk is absolutely horrible. I absolutely hate calling the office for any reason. The PA’s are awesome. They are caring, well mannered and most of all listens. I always like having a visits with the PA’s!! The doctor is too condescending and behaves like she does not want to be bothered. My friend recommended this doctor, but she has since left, due to the same behaviors from front desk and doctor. I really like the PA’s so I decided to hang a little longer. I just cringe when I have to see the doctor rather than the awesome PA’s.

Dr Hernandez is by far the best MD I have met. She cares about her patients, listens, is empathetic and includes your own decisions in your plan of care. She is very thorough and knowledgeable and follow up is excellent. My family and I have been coming here for years and find the staff to be superior as well. They call you a few days in advance to remind you of your appointment. they call you with any abnormalities and follow up with MD if necessary, and the office has its own lab with highly trained phlebotomists. As a patient you should be as informed as possible, ask questions, be honest about your history, follow your plan of care and be proactive.

My daughter went in to see her and she was more than upset. Aparna judged my daughters other Doctor and simply put tried to discredit another Doctor much more educated in a different field with far more credentials than she. Instead of focusing on my daughters needs, Aparna gave rude comments and accomplished nothing. Arrogance and moodiness is not expected when you go to a doctor so we will find someone more qualified and professional elsewhere.

I would not recommend her. I was seeing her for many years and being 10 mins late on my appt, I was asked to see her PA or reschedule the appointment after waiting there for 47 mins. This shows lack of professionalism and insensitivity to patient needs.

I have been going their for years. I was without insurance due to personal reasons and all I needed was my medications to be refilled one more time. They are rude and to be honest we’re never helpful. I would not recommend this office.
