Dr. Aparna Mallik, MD

My child was seen by Dr. Malik. She is nice in person and seemed to take her time with my young child and in asking me background information. However, her report was written very differently from the things she said to me at the appointment. Then, when I tried repeatedly to call the office (and left voice mails and messages with front office staff), and no one returned my call. Now, almost a year later, I am still dealing with the ramifications of her terrible report and never heard back from anyone. There are plenty of other developmental pediatricians with better office practices and much more informative reports. She seems to cater to school districts more than children and families.

You and your child will love Dr. Mallik. Once you get past the extremely long wait list you will be pleased with her. However, making a follow-up appointment will be as difficult to make as the initial one was. If there was another doctor that would evaluate my child as well as Dr. Mallik does without so much difficulty dealing with the office, I would head elsewhere, but frankly their isn't. Getting quality assistance and care is not readily available. You will be trapped at the mercy of this awful office like the rest of us.

Super nice, humble and excellent doctor and person

I have to say the staff at the office is very rude and unprofessional. No one answers the telephones when calling the office and no one returns phone calls when leaving several messages for an appointments for months. Months later when reaching a live person, then being told that the appointment calendar is closed (8 months in advance) to call back next month. The cycle begins again. Very disappointed. Go find a new office to visit.
