Aparna Raghuram, OD, PHD

Dr. Aparna Raghuram, OD, PhD, is Director of Pediatric Optometry in the Department of Ophthalmology at Boston Children’s Hospital and an assistant professor of ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School. She specializes in pediatric optometry, vision therapy, pediatric eye examinations, concussion-related vision disorders, accommodative and vergence dysfunction, and low vision rehabilitation. Dr. Raghuram earned her optometry degree in India and completed advanced residency and fellowship training in pediatric optometry and vision science in the United States, including at the New England College of Optometry and the University of Illinois Chicago. In addition to her clinical work, she is an accomplished researcher with numerous publications focused on pediatric vision disorders, concussion-related visual deficits, myopia progression, and visual rehabilitation.
