This Doctor Loves what he does .. He has kept me moving for years. My first back surgery was in 1995 and he did a lamenectaby and Ten years later, 2005 he put 5 screws , one in each vertebra that is attached to a flexible bar.. I am very Flexible without feeling Stiff at all.. He's so good at what he does, everyone knows him in many of the hospitals. Wonderful Little Man !!! He's 5 Stars for me...

I got my neck surgery done and got a lot of the sensation back into my hands right after I woke up! It didn't hurt at all, just like the doctor said.

Dr. Pootrakul saved my life 26 years ago when I suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm at the young age of 23. He performed a fairly new procedure on me and successfully clipped my aneurysm and saved my life. I was the 7th person to have this procedure that was a complete success. I would recommend him to anyone and I'm happy to see all the positive reviews he is getting as he is an AMAZING doctor.

Very pleasant. Took detailed history, reviewed Xrays with me, summarized findings.Reviewed all of that with me. Asked if I had questions, answered them!

After seeing doctors in another state, I was referred to Dr Pootrakul by my neurologist in AZ, who happens to be in charge of research for Parkinsons at Boswell Institute. I found Dr Pootrakul to be very knowledgeable, a person who explains every facet of what was happening to me and how he would do the DBS procedure for this condition. Surgery was done and was very successful...tremors disappeared, as well as ridgidity. Everyone involved with the surgery was very courteous, bedside manner excellent. Follow up appointments were easily set up, Doctor P spent a lot of time answering questions and explaining everything. I did develop an infection four months after the surgery, but once again Dr. P came to my aide, and removed the infection with antibiotics and surgery. I will have a new DBS stimulator inserted in a few months and looking forward to it. I have never had a more caring doctor. By the way, the only time we had a longer wait time at the office is when there was an… emergency case that came in.
