Dr. Apolinar F Gacote, MD

He's a really nice man and he means well and tries his best. He is sweet and earnest even if his wife is difficult to deal with but he does try his best. Only problem is that he has many unintentional gender based biases which ended up being detrimental to the care I was able to get from him. His earnest nature caused me to stay with him much longer than I should have. When I was expressing the symptoms of a rare heart disorder he insisted it was anxiety, until I stoped bringing it up because I was seeing a cardiologist, when I was loosing weight unintentionally despite eating more (I dropped down from 94 lbs to 89 lbs and was skin and bones) he told me not to worry unless I dropped into the 70's. I'm pretty sure if I were to get down to 79lbs I'd be dead or close to it. When some unknown thing was causing me to throw up frequently and I asked for a referral to gastro or the guy doctor he said "so you're bulimic" and told me to follow up with psych. I don't want to hurt his feelings as… he's a kind person but I also think it is important to be truthful and let others know what they may be getting with him. If you're reading this Dr. Gacote I'm sorry you are a nice man and could have been a fantastic doctor for me but you've got gender biases that impede your ability to be a good doctor to women. If you do read this I hope rather than be hurt you try to think about what biases you have so you can better see patients and truly listen to what they have to say. Thank you for being my doctor for two years I wish you the best.

What can I say about these uncompassionate people. They are self consumed money hungry creatures. Shame on medical profession leaching the state medical system. I just feel sorry for people who go to their clinic to get more sick and ripped of their money. These people continue to plunder the insurance and state medical system without having to worry about the law!!! Wow!!! Look at the expensive cars they have parked at their house. Somebody must bring justice to them, where is the law???!!!

Dr Apolinar and His wife Marissa Gacote are Shame to the Filipino community. To my fellow Filipinos, huwag niyo pong dalhin dito and pamilya niyo kung ayaw niyong mapasama ang kalusugan nila. Ang mag asawa pong ito ay May hinding magandang asal, Bastos at may sinisingil na Additional na fees Hindi naman dapat. Kahihiyan Po sila sa mga Filipino at Hindi dapat tularan. Lalo na si Marissa Gacote na kanyang maybahay at assistant na kulang sa Good moral and right conduct. Napakasama Po ng ugali at Bastos ng babaeng ito, walang respeto sa mga kapwa. Maniwala Po kayo sa mga reviews sa yelp about sa mag asawang ito. Try niyo rin pong mag search sa google sa mga reviews. Wag Po ninyong dalhin ang nanay at tatay niyo sakanila at maghanap kayo ng ibang Doktor.

Knowledgeable, professional, polite, courteous with good bedside manners. Very nice doctor. Stuff are very accommodating and polite Highly recommended to.my friends and family.

Whenever you call them they put you into a long hold about almost 30 mins! and when you try to ask for refills for your medication their "secretary" named MARY, who she feels like she's so high than us is so RUDE and doesn't even no manners! I SUGGEST YOU DONT GO TO THIS DOCTOR IF THEIR SECRETARIES AREN'T EASY TO TALK WITH AND APPROACHABLE. VERY DIFFICULT PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH.

I have never incountered anyone worse than the manager at this office. She is so unprofessional unfortunately the doctor can't fire his own wife. She is always yelling at the patients and the staff. No matter how the doctor the doctor is or not I will recommend pls find someone else.

Not a very professional environment. Front desk people seems to be all training/extern from an school. There's a lady, the doctor's wife ( from what I heard)Talks bad about people in her native language. Yes....Too bad, because the doctor is really nice. But does not keep his appointment. Wait is too long. He need to find someone professionals to run his clinic and do some ethics training.
