Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:Working as a nurse, I realized I wanted to connect with my patients on a deeper level. I wanted to help advocate for them and positively influence their health by ensuring proper care is being implemented. I also enjoyed learning and furthering my knowledge so that I can be proficient in my care. I felt that if I furthered my knowledge then I could also share this knowledge with my patients through patient education and interaction. I believe this is key to ensuring positive patient outcomes. What I want my patients to know about me:I want my patients to know that I am here for them. I am willing to listen and take the time to help find the best healthcare options for them. What I do when I'm not seeing patients:When I am not seeing patients, I enjoy time with my family. My family and I like to watch movies, play sports, travel and play board games.
