Dr. April Morales, DO

Dr. April Morales is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with extensive experience in hospitalist and perioperative care. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of North Texas Health Science Center and completed her residency at Methodist Health System in Dallas. Dr. Morales has served in both academic and clinical roles, including as a hospitalist at Brooke Army Medical Center, where she managed complex surgical and trauma patients and led preoperative evaluations. Her earlier work at Methodist Dallas Medical Center involved supervising residents and managing critical care cases, including transplant and trauma patients. She has also contributed to multiple research presentations in gastroenterology and internal medicine. Dr. Morales is passionate about global health and has participated in several medical missions in Guatemala. Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling, cooking, weightlifting, and practicing yoga.
