Dr. Aram Nazareth Demirjian, MD

I was fortunate enough to have Dr. Demirjian came into my life back in 2012 at UCIMC. Another doctor at Fountain Valley Memorial hospital, Parin Patel messed up on my gallbladder surgery. It took that hospital a week to transfer me to UCIMC. Dr. Demirjian and his team performed a Roux-n-y. I am forever grateful for UCIMC and its great team of honest doctors.

I was referred to Dr. Demirjian by my very trusted Primary Care Provider Ricardo Wellisch. From the first meeting it was obvious that he had carefully reviewed the notes from the many studies that were performed during a recent hospitalization. He also had one of the best ways of conversing with a somewhat frightened patient (me) that I had ever seen. Having been a nurse for over 40 years that says a lot! Throughout a second hospitalization I heard again and again from the staff who know his work well that he indeed had it all intelligence, skill and compassion, something that isn't always found in one person and is especially appreciated in a surgeon!
