Dr. Aram Minasian, MD

Dr. Minasian has been our family physician for the past five years. We've had complex health histories. His critical care experience has guided our care. Dr. Minasian has coordinated and directed our care with multiple specialists. As a nurse, I have very high standards, and he and his staff have met those standards.

I did like Dr. Minasian a lot the first couple times I saw him. The third time I saw him the visit was quite odd. I came in for a visit to get a new prescription for my Severe OA. I was feeling depressed and quite down complaining I couldn't do simple things around my house or running errands anymore. I was in a lot of pain. He said to me, "You sound like you"re 80 years old." He was sipping his iced coffee and looking at me with a smirk on his face. I'm 53 years old. Then he says, "Excuse me". He left the exam room to go do something. I don't know? Then came back in and in another 5 minutes he said, "Excuse me." He left again. I've never seen a doctor come in and drink iced coffee then leave the exam room on me and or my family. Very unprofessional. Also his Medical Doctor knowledge is about 10-15 years old. I did finally get my hip replacement and feel a lot better. I will not go back to this doctor ever. He will insult you when in the mood. Especially a woman.

I wonder why this doctor sweats so much. He is the kind of person that will get you hooked then set you up when your really sick. Beware of the psychological pain

Extremely satisfied with Dr Minasian. I have been a patient for many years. Doctor takes time with every patient and gives a printed report of his conversations with the patient at each visit.

I met Dr. Minasian during pre-admission testing for an upcoming surgery I was having. He was kind and very thorough with his exam and any questions I had. I had my surgery and 2 weeks later I developed pulmonary embolisms and almost died. That man saved my life!!! He visited me EVERY day while I was in ICU and was amazing with helping me threw every bump in the road. I decided after my experience with him at the hospital to continue my everyday care with him and I am not disappointed. He answers all of my questions and does not give medications with reason or explanation. I will be switching my entire family to his practice. BEST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER HAD!

His bedside manner is beyond compare, he does not talk above your head. All information is typed out for review later. Who does that these days?

The wait time every time I visit this office is over a hour. I only return because he's a good doctor but at this rate I will be finding someone else. I also had to tell the nurse the bathroom needed some attention. Not sure when the last time it was cleaned from the ring around the toilet. She seemed a little upset because I told her it needed some attention.

Was upset about an specialist recommendation not to put me on antidepressants, which he wasn't treating me for depression . Slam the files down. I heard him talking to his assistances outside the rooms about my situation. They were laughing because he was so upset. So if I could hear, all could hear. Made me feel so uneasy. He has a habit of talking down to one of his assistance. I have so many medications that I have bought for nothing. I have sat in the waiting room and examination for up to 3 hours. Follow ups never happen. I never get a call about any of my test or that I should get my blood work done.

I went to Minasian for 5 years and initally was satisfied but as time went on and he moved into his own office my care deteriorated. I frequently had to wait 2 plus hours for my appt, and having diabetes I have to go frequently he often changed medications on me without letting me know, he had me on so many drugs and some of them were not good together and some were known for kidney damage and not recommended for diabetic. The last straw was when went for a flu shot at a local clinic and they informed me that my blood pressure was high and should be checked by my dr. I had been having a headache for a day or so so i called and they said to come right in. My blood pressure was fine but he wanted to prescribe a medication for migraines well it is actually for people with epiliepsy but is sometimes prescribed for chornic migrains ( i do not have chronic migraines) After reading the side effects i decided that my misgivngs were founded, and found a wonderful Dr who… spent 3 months weaning me off all the drugs He was astounded at what I was on. I now have better control over my bood sugars take half the medications and am usually in and out within an hour or so. Also i do not know what the problem was in his office buthis office staff was frequently fighting amongst themselves and his PA was in tears several times when I went.
