Dr. Aram Mouzeyan, MD

Excellent bedside manor. He listens and seems to care. However, Dr. Mouzeyan discourages and prevents his patients from having continuous glucose monitors (cgm’s). Because I was a patient of his, I went for years waking up some mornings in the 300’s or having lows in the 40’s while hiking or exercising. I had stopped even feeling severe lows. He may have taken years off my life because of his archaic views on medicine. His reasoning was that a cgm would cause me more anxiety. (To know what my blood sugar is and correct it? Absurd.) I finally insisted and I also insisted on a 670g pump with auto mode. The nurses in his office commented that the other doctors in the clinic had many patients with this sophisticated and life-saving technology. Yet I was Dr. Mouzeyan’s first patient he had seen with one. He is a great doctor who insists on treating diabetes as if it’s 1970. That doesn’t seem in the best interest of his patients, and I question his motives. I’ve seen first hand the… positive effects of insisting on better medical care and choosing a new doctor.

Dr. Mouzeyan is kind and caring, and a very talented physician. I feel so lucky to be his patient!

From start to finish I have never had a doctor that has made me feel as comfortable as Dr, Mouzeyan. He has a wonderful bedside manner and as making someone like myself who has never experienced having this kind of procedure done(biopsies)all my anxieties were gone the minute he started the procedure. I wish to thank him for all his compassion.
